ARGGH! FIFA 2004=Garbage, when does PES 3 for PC come out!!

PES 3 for PC is the only other Soccer game i ahve ever played in my life. I have only played FIFA up till this year since 97, I have owned every version and watched them add one or two features here, and take out 5 features each year so you can buy the next years version and hope it will be an improvement. I just downloaded the PES 3 PC demo after receiving my FIFA 2004 PC copy, playing it for 5 minutes, uninstalling it and snapping both CD's in 2 and my eyes have been opened.

The football game of my dreams is here. When are they releasing PES 3. Enough is enough. At least the NBA Live team and NHL and Madden improve each year, the FIFA team has ******* lost it, how can you not save replays? How can you not configure your gamepad. This is the year 2003, what the hell

i think that the fifa team needs 2 or 3 years pause and a new programmer-team (mmmhh maybe japanese??) before launching their next football game.

i have played fifa 2004 PC and its really sh1t made in worst (!) quality ...
the only footballgame for soccer fans is PES3 now and if konami gets enough sales, then PES4 and PES5 ( ) will also be released on PC ... cant wait for next year !!!!!!!!

Fifa 2004 is imo the worst FIFA yet, in terms of gameplay. PES3, here I come!

Yes, and people give them the benefit of the doubt every year & they keep messing around with people's trust.

I was just thinking about all the people who downloaded the game and cancelled their pre-order one or two days before the release. I really would like to know the number of pre-orders and the actual shipped games, hehehe

One other funny thing is that there's a level-of-detail setting which is all messed up (the distance to which a lower detailed model/texture gets displayed).

They made all those detailed faces and earrings, ponytails (like beckham), wrist bands, etc. And they are only visible when playing in max zoom or in cutscenes.

So basically they wasted hours of work on that, lol!

EA ruined the SG FIFA 2004 forum, let alone the game, look at the place, its a joke compared to what it was when the demo came out.

Having played PES3 PC demo I have to say that it is the second worst PS->PC port I've seen, the first being ISS3. And having now played FIFA I have to say that the game is great. Only things that I don't like in FIFA are the blatant mistakes in player evaluation.

You are SO wrong. This is not a bad port at all. You just need a fast system to run it. And that is not because it is a bad port, it's just that kind of system hungry game. If you have a decent system, it runs perfectly. Metal Gear Solid, GTA3 are 2 ports that were far worsely done than PES3. And what's more, this is just the demo you are playing - you can't make this judgement call without having played the full version. It will be far more polished and stable than the demo.

Seeing as what we're playing is most likely a leaked press beta, it runs brilliantly. I was going to ask if you were using an mx card but after using the search you have an fx5900(why?) which will run the game perfect once you've adjusted your display properties...don't tell me you've never had problems getting a PC game to run.

Judging from the howling coming from SG's and Ea's fifa forums there's plenty other mistakes than just player evaluation.
