and Pirlo's narcoleptic attacks must have started at around the 25th minute because he looks like he randomly falls asleep before making a pass right to the Arsenal defense or midfield..

It was a pleasure to play against a class team like Milan. I saw both games and both were of really HIGH ENTERTAINMENT, which is why we love football so much.... I am hoping Milan finish above 4th because the CL would be strange without them...

at least now you can concentrate on your domestic cups/leagues. You should be able to improve on your 4th place from last year with not being in so many competitions. GL

Arsenal deserved this win, they outplayed us. Changes are due in Milan.

they've been due for a while now. Galliani's view of change is an 18 year old who we put all our hope on.. and Emerson :|

That was probably one of the best performances by any team against us in many a year.

I can't think of too many chances we actually had. A good spell very early on and bits and pieces in the second half but thin kouor whole midfield was pretty much on the backfoot all game

It was an honour playing against you. The match was very entertaining. Like Jab said, it will be strange without Milan, if they do not qualify.

i think you guys really missed the creativity of Seedorf, and apart from that age is starting to show at Milan, Maldini is in his last season if im not mistaken, you need replacements for him and for most of the team.....Arsenal deserved to win, so congrats to them. Don't worry I don't think there's any chance that you won't qualify for next season's CL.

What Milan should do now, is get rid of Ancelotti, maybe it is time for a change at Milan. They should then hire Mourinho, he will bring a fresh approach. He can use the rest of the season as part of the transition process which usually negatively effects a team, and then by next season (and after the summer transfer window) his influence should start to show, and Milan can continue to be a great side. His style of management and tactics would suit Milan aswell I think. I'm looking forward to see what some think of this suggestion.

Milan got everything they could with this squad. Numerous seasons sneaking through and winning over a couple of teams that were better than them.. Finally they got trashed.
Just realize how funny it is - Milan played some 3-4 years with 32-33-34 year old players and the defensive tactics and the luck got them some silverware, but at the end of the day the luck ends.

Like the lads above said, this squad needs a complete replacement in order to be competitive in the upcoming years. I can see only Oddo, Kaka, Pato and Nesta staying. and Kaladze and Gatuso. Even Pirlo needs replacement. Not to mentioned all 33+ year old bones...

You or Bummy wouldn't say that if you had of lost. You would have been screaming about diving Italian cheats, as in after the first leg. So you are just being condescending to Milan, but thats typical goons for you.(N)

And the consensus of opinion seems to be that the players are just too old. I don't think I know of another team in football who have so many older guys in it.

A mix of youth and experience is a perfect blend for a player and for a team. Milan have experienced players who are not youthful, and youthful players who are not experienced. That is a recipe for disaster. kaka seems like the only guy who has both. That leaves ten players who will struggle in todays football. Last night, struggle they did.

Its a shame because I hear Milan is like a family, therefore its hard to give old family members the push. But for the sake of the club, someone needs to be ruthless.

Last night would have been humiliating for me if I was a Milan fan. It does not matter that Arsenal played well or not, because Milan were very bad, worse than in the first leg.

This always hurts the fans more than anyone, so I feel for you on this one guys.

Its been a while. Anyway, this defeat for me means the end of an era. The team is already showing it's signs of decay, and for some time now. Even last year on the Champions League, we struggled to beat Celtic and Bayern, played our only great game of the competition against Man Utd at home and got pissed all over by Liverpool for Inzaghi to score a brace. Then, this season, we can't win more than 2 matches in a row, draw everyone and struggle to beat pretty much any team.

How could we beat Arsenal, drawing teams like Catania? Age has now taken its final toll on us and we should be happy if we get fourth place, because Fiorentina dont seem too interested in letting their chance escape. And it's time for more ambition in the transfer market. I've heard rumours of Adriano. Come on, Adriano? We need good players, not past-it refugees. New defenders, new midfielders, a world-class fella to combo with Kaká, yes, entire squad rebuilding.

The next coach should build the squad around Pato, Kaká, Gattuso, Pirlo and Nesta. Oh, and we're in desperate need of a keeper. I cant stand the cheap-ass performances of Dida and Kalac anymore.
