Commentator said that away goals weren't going to count for extra time because it gives 30 minutes extra to the away team of the second leg. I was expecting penalties!

Mexico & USA are the last teams to qualify directly. The Final Draw will be tomorrow, April 1 (Saturday Australian time) & the last 3 spots will be decided in June playoffs.

Looks weird. Even if Iran were to be removed from the World Cup, it would make more sense to invite an AFC team in their place.

Yes, so then the AFC Fourth Round would be a playoff for the final tournament. But FIFA have already rejected the idea.
