The Return of College Soccer to FIFA 16?
So I am making this thread to see if it is possible to return college soccer to the world of FIFA 16 modding. The original project was my very first mod here and I actually felt it was quite popular. Now with the return of college football and basketball by EA, I thought this could possibly open up an avenue for me to pursue this mod. Now let's address some questions:

1) How many teams will be included?
A: Best case scenario: this mod will include all D1, D2, and D3 teams for men's and women's. Worst case: only D1. This gives me a range of between 563 to 1,700+ teams. With the best case scenario, there will be 3 separate databases similar to the FIFA Infinity Patch.

2) Will this include real player names and likenesses?
A: I am still debating this. While I want this mod to feel authentic and I want to represent the players, I also would like to avoid legal trouble with a certain organization. I am willing to put in the work to bring all of these players into the mod, but at first I may have to start with generic player names.

3) Will this mod be compatible with FIP 16?
A: Sadly, no. Due to the number of teams present in the mod, it will not be 100% compatible with FIP16. Now is it possible to add a team from this mod to FIP? Yes. But adding the entire mod to FIP and trying to do a career mode, not possible. But good news, this mod is being built around FIP's framework.

4) Will this be compatible with the US Project?
I am doing my best to work out a way to have IDs mesh between my two projects. It will be tough because of the sheer volume of teams means I am pushing both databases to their limits.

5) High Schools?
According to National Center of Education Statistics, there are approximately 26,727 High Schools in the US. I am one man and that's a lot of schools. Now, is the top 25 from each state possible? Absolutely.

Now here are some images from the last mod, so you can see what you can expect

Hey man I absolutely love your work this is genuinely incredible, as a college student, I'm savoring at being able to play with my team. I think, and this is just my personal opinion, to make it easier for you could have like 10-15 placeholder teams and maybe give out a tutorial to allow us to make our own jerseys and teams for our personal high schools. I'm not good at code so I'm not entirely sure if that's possible but I could understand college keeps you busy and really wanted to lessen your workload cuz that seems like a lot. Like in CFB games a good percentage don't even play high school. I'm not saying I wouldn't, quite the opposite, I would love to but I also am from a small town in Florida and my high school is no where near the top 25 of my state. If you ever played RTG on CFB14 it could be like that but in FIFA where they're just generic teams and we would get to customize for our own personal high schools just an idea lmk if that's not possible but anyways thanks for taking the time to read and again you work is absolutely incredible. Have a good day!

This could definitely be done. I had already been thinking about doing a tutorial for adding teams to the database, making uniforms, and adding players.

It should be fictional

It should be a fictional NCAA seasonal patch mod similar to how college mods on NBA 2K14 on NLSC forums have been you should also do a fictional NCAA patch one mens for FIFA 14 and one womens for FIFA 16 to be under the radar
