It just doesn't work like that. I could change ID and you find yourself a player with a random player's face because we are using databases with different ID sets. I intend, as I said a few days ago, to revolutionize ID leagues and tournaments. If you keep the old databases you know that you will have crashes and above all I will not be able to consider any reports valid because maybe I have already fixed them some time before. I believe this has already happened.

No I mean let's say we finish 2000s UCL + some additional teams like Spartak and Zenit and that's it, no more 2000s teams are to be added to CP.
Then 1910s and such start getting updates and I (and maybe others too) just stop updating because we have the perfect CP with everything we can dream of.
And for others you're releasing AIO anyway, so they'll delete the whole patch and install it clean without conflicts.
It's just an idea, though. To maximize the utilization of what we have right now (data and kits) instead of not adding it just in case some day there is a limit.

Also, just curious, Val has released Euro 2020 in his update and we're reaching a 1 year anniversary of the tournament soon, any plans to add it into official CP release?

No, voglio dire, diciamo che finiamo l'UCL degli anni 2000 + alcune squadre aggiuntive come Spartak e Zenit e basta, non devono essere aggiunte altre squadre degli anni 2000 al CP.
Poi gli anni '10 e simili iniziano a ricevere aggiornamenti e io (e forse anche altri) smetto semplicemente di aggiornare perché abbiamo il CP perfetto con tutto ciò che possiamo sognare.
E per gli altri stai comunque rilasciando AIO, quindi elimineranno l'intera patch e la installeranno senza conflitti.
È solo un'idea, però. Per massimizzare l'utilizzo di ciò che abbiamo in questo momento (dati e kit) invece di non aggiungerlo nel caso in cui un giorno ci sia un limite.

Inoltre, solo per curiosità, Val ha rilasciato Euro 2020 nel suo aggiornamento e presto raggiungeremo il primo anniversario del torneo, hai intenzione di aggiungerlo alla versione ufficiale di CP?

Every time I add something even in the 90's I happen to change ID because the ID of a player (which maybe is also present in 2000) had been used by others. I have changed a dozen are in the last few days. When a player changes ID I change him in all databases where he is present. you should create a CMP and re-import it to the new Databases. At least you don't risk conflicts.

Euro 2020, as mentioned months ago, will be added in 2023 or 2024. We have always done so since WC 2014. Always at least two years or so. In this way we give the right merit, vision, and space to those who created the original version. We are interested in having the authorization to be able to use everything and rightly we do not want the spotlight on us for material and work not ours to the detriment of those who worked on it. We are taking a step back for a while.

there's only 1 db and 1 loc (language) but there 2 DLC: one for National teams, the other for Clubs teams.

db valaddon is the old one, db 2000s addon is the actual one (I think if I'm right, db valddon was on first pack..) check the date of each db, the more recent modified on is the right one, anyway it's the one from here that is accurate

don't use id with 5 numbers, always with 6.

no db is plug and play, empty db folder, copy mine, rebuild, play (of course copy eng.db on loc and select dlbc nations or clubs)

yes, and all ids in the 123xxx are to be avoided too (I used some and they crashed..I don't know why and if it's for all of them or only one or another that I sadly used) so I keep 121001 until 124999 for my edits, that a 4,000 teams gap sufficient
