Tight Goal Nets

Hi All,

After some experimenting I've found you can tighten or loosen the goal nets.

I'm sure some of you will recognise these SOCCERNET strings. They seem to override the default.

This will give you tight box nets if that's your thing:
SOCCERNET_BOX_NORMAL_LOOSE_2_SUPPORTS=-400

and this loosens the Box nets:
SOCCERNET_BOX_NORMAL_LOOSE_4_SUPPORTS=500

I've put these lines in my rna.ini but it might well work in others.

It seems you can have only one of the lines active at any one time, so comment out the others before loading the game. Try experimenting with the others, some work some don't (the base net bar will raise too high). I'm not 100% sure but the ball may behave differently with each string when it hits the net.

Hi Elcane, thanks for replying.

Try these strings too:

animatenet_pbr=1
goalnetropes_pbr=1

I've got so many different strings that I've tried, sometimes its' hard to keep track of what effects what!

Try adding the strings to your rna.ini (extract orig or make one with a text editor and regen), maybe that will help.

Also of note:- I'm playing the original on disc .exe (version 1 before EA patched the game, which is so much better gameplay wise btw), so I'm wondering if maybe this is only possible with the early version of the game.

Well, I have edited these lines, but the goalnets, but seem its not running for me.
Is this for Fifa16? or it´s ok fot Fifa21 Too?
When I put first SOCCERNET_BOX_NORMAL_LOOSE_2_SUPPORTS=-400 the goanets are ok, but in triangular nets, the nets seems crazy when the ball impacts!
I´m a fan of he goalnets, and I would like know how to extract orig :-S What sofware can i use?

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to assign these SOCCERNET strings to individual stadiums. You just have to change the values in the .ini file before you load and play the particular match.

Just rename .txt to .ini

Not sure if this works with fifa14. I dont have '14 installed so am unable to test unfort.

Guess you could try the strings in any of the .ini files really.

If I remember rightly there's a test.ini in fifa14 so you could create that and put the lines in there?

Open notepad, copy in those lines and save file as .ini instead of .txt

or save as .txt and then change the file extension to .ini either way works.

Hi nikolapfc89, yes I think you'll need to restart as far as I know the game reads those .ini files on the boot.

I've not run any tests on this though, so i suppose you could try alt-tabbing, adjusting the lines and then loading up a match to see if the game references this on match load.

Hi enzo_g, paste the rna.ini into the main game folder, so:-

Origin/Origin Games/Fifa 16 - so it will sit alongside files like sysdllzf.dll etc
