I highly doubt that there will be a flag change in the future .. this is really aching for me :( .. but i will always call my country as Yugoslavia .. as for soccer i think we will play under then name of Yugoslavia for the rest of 2003 i think .. then we would have to change it

i never thought Yugoslavia would let Montenegro become independent what a suprise. i think Yugoslavia will keep its flag and Montenegro will probably get a new flag.

I don't see the point of calling a country the same after it's breakdown......that name stands for a lot of pain and suffering, especially for non-serbs.... :confused:

It's a good thing for Montenegro, since they'll get more recognized now in the world :) ..............and i don't understand why any serbe wouldn't want the name "Serbia" in the official country name? Afterall Savo, you're a Serb and i'm Croat :)

1. After the breakdown Montenegro was still with Yugoslavia and so they decided to keep the name becuz the country was still alive with one of its republics !


2. Itz not a great thing becuz we have been 5 time world basketball champions .. people cheer for Yugoslavia .. it is just stupid to cheer for Serbia and Montenegro :| .. we serbs do not tottaly hate this idea becuz we are serbs and the country should be called Serbia .. but a lot of people think Montenegro should not be in the name as well becuz it just sounds awful to me and to other ppl .. Yugoslavia is a historic name that has gone down in history of the world and in the history of sports .. i will always call myself a Serb .. and from Yugoslavia .. plus if we tell the ppl know .. an example like " im going to Serbia and Montenegro" .. or " There was a huge soccer game between Partizan and Real Madrid in Serbia and Monthenegro" .. the ppl would be like "Huh?" weres that ? :S :( .. those are just my opinions

So Savo youre saying you dont want to call your coutry Serbia because of sporting events? To me that kind of sounds dumb because your countrys name or size shouldnt matter no matter what. Plus you guys always talk about Serbia and being a Serb anyway so isnt it better to just call it Serbia?

Bosnia is split up into 2 now .. with the Federation of muslims and croatians while the other half is Republika Srpska .. if you have no clue about the subject at hand ahmed .. there is no use of trying to act smart if you have no clue about the subject :|
