BTW i found out a top quality way of saving money,i got Ronaldo,Ferdinand,Henry,Carlos for free. Right at the start of the negotiation window look at the players status for each team if they have a green arrow next to there name it means they are out of contract,quickly put in a free transfer bid offer them wages and there u go a free player that doesnt cost a thing!.

Players I've bought and got terribly disappointed: Beckham, and just bought Vieri (the most expensive player in the game) and it's ****. Also Jeremies, but he isn't bad, he's just not that good.

Ok. As soon as you finish a season and you get past the promotion/relegation bit,the first round of negotiations will begin. Ok go to apply transfer negotiations and click on a team e.g. Man Utd. You will see a list of there players. If a player is out of contract he will have a green arrow next to his name. Click on his name and it will ask you if you want to start negotiations for a free transfer. Then set the wages you want to offer him (save before you do this if you want to save and load until he accepts the deal you give). Then next week he will be on your team!.

BTW important note,you can only do this in the first week of the negotiation window, because after that the clubs would of given there players a new contract.

during transfer windows, use the Conditional Search option, and for contract duration put " 0 - 1" years, and you'll get a list of players whose contracts are expired or expiring. It works best during the 2nd transfer window during the season and the preseason transfer window. In the 2nd transfer window during the season, when you do this, you'll get a list of the players who can negotiate for free transfers but will move in the post/preseason. Snap up as many as you can and they'll move for you next season.

I play a flat 4-4-2. No fancy formations, and no real big stars, so I can still earn a fair bit of points during league games.

I have to say the strikeforce of these two growth players is awesome. I've made Dunant to be a more old fashioned centre forward, good jumper and header, has an absolutely lethal shot and is very fast but not such a good dribbler or passer, whereas Piliniak is more of a playmaker forward, with very good passing and dribbling skills and a shot that isn't to be laughed at. Hamann has a hell of a shot on him too. It's fun running about with Piliniak then laying the ball off for Hamann to run on to and smash into the top corner. Riquelme tends to make a lot of forward runs to help out the strikers, but his shooting is rather weak so he gets scrappy goals.

I don't like using growth players because u can easily turn them in to brilliant players
