^ I've recently started to properly appreciate J Dilla for the great producer he actually was. I'd always heard good tracks that he was involved with but had no idea just how influential he really was thoughout all of hip-hop..

And speaking of Little Brother.. You probably already have it, but in the off chance you dont you should definitely get a copy of The Foreign Exchange - Connected. It's essentially Little Brother produced by Nicolay, such a great laid -back album.

Actually no, until the other day the only album of their I had was The Minstrel Show and I decided it was finally time to hear their other albums. This was the highest rated one before Minstrel Show on rapreviews.com.

Diverse - One A.M.

"Diverse's superior lyricism is combined with top-notch production courtesy of
a holy trinity of underground favorites: Prefuse 73, Madlib, and RJD2."

My new current favourite hip-hop album, I can't beleive it took me this long to find this. Impressive from start to finish in every way. Especially liking the Prefuse 73 produced tracks.. (Y)

Put in my order for 'Intuition - Stories about Nothing' last night at cdbaby.com. I heard the track "foundations" and instantly had to get the whole CD.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Intuition sees the world differently. He extracts humor from the mundane, locates heartache in humor, finds comfort in that heartache, and develops stress out of that same comfort. Where most would see a straight line, he tends to see a circle."

"Thought provoking independent hip hop. Intuition is a great lyricist, and Equalibrum provides a beautiful soundscape for him to rap over. The production value is phenomenal."

shinji dude, have you listened to Us3's latest album?
if I remember correctly you also fancy the band so do try Schizophonic, it's incredibly good IMHO.

Starting XI
Currently searching for Sonic Youth albuns, cause I'm getting a big fan of them. Maybe I'll wait for the release of Teen Age Riot in 12th of June, in a new edition and with lots of goodies!

And I will search for "Dirty" and "Rather Ripped" like mad (H)

Johnny you can easily get either of them at FNAC, even if they don't have it in the store you can always ask them to order the album from some other store in the country, or even from above although imports might cost you a few more €.

I didn't even know they had a recent album, haven't listened to them in a while. I checked out some tracks from that Schizophonic album on iTunes just now and it does seem good, I'll have to keep an eye out for that one..

Also, if anyone knows... I'm trying really hard to find a website to order the CD "Dyno - Dyno is Sol Waters" somewhere online but none of the places I usually buy from have it.. and so far the only online stores I've found with it available are in Germany or Japan and I'm not interested in paying fat-ass shipping charges.

I can get it from iTunes but I need a hard copy, so if you know any good online shops from Canada or the US that carry indy hip-hop, lemme know thanks..
