Tool - 10 000 days

1. Vicarious
2. Jambi
3. Wings For Marie (Pt 1)
4. 10,000 Days (Wings Pt 2)
5. The Pot
6. Lipan Conjuring
7. Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann)
8. Rosetta Stoned
9. Intension
10. Right In Two
11. Viginti Tres

After listening to "Ænima" for a while now, I wasn't really surprised how good "10 000 days" are. It has some amazing songs and a nice atmosphere about it. Nice cover art as well, with the goggles and everything. "Lateralus" is on it's way too ;)

Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss

1. War Ensemble
2. Blood Red
3. Spirit in Black
4. Expendable Youth
5. Dead Skin Mask
6. Hallowed Point
7. Skeletons of Society
8. Temptation
9. Born of Fire
10. Seasons in the Abyss

I didn't really have any expectations to this album after having both "God Hates us all" and "Reign in Blood" in my collection before, but this one totally blew my mind! Some amazing guitar riffs and drum work here, and it's not as thrashy and speedy as Slayer usually is (which is a good thing IMO) :p

hoping to arrive on Monday:

Thom Yorke - The Eraser

I thought it sounded pretty much like a stereotypical Radiohead album, only not as good.
Although that's saying something.

Kinda reminded me of Hail to the Theif without the group input. So there's not much invention but it's decent enough from what I've heard.

Play's been packing my copy for two days now.

a) Either the site's knacked

or...

b) Some trainee keeps dropping the bugger.

heh, I just picked up that Dj Shadow vs. Keane single too! Great track...

EDIT: I also picked up Head Automatica's 'Popaganda' about a week earlier. I hadn't heard anything from it previously but I grabbed it because of Shifty the Automator's involvment (whom I'm a big fan of). It's an ok album overall, but the only tracks I really like are "Graduation Day" and "Shot in the Back (The Platypus)"

I recommend you pick up something from glassjaw. it's daryl's former project (not really hip-hop -ish, but still good).

but you probably bought the album just for the sake of Shifty the automator, so buy mike patton stuff. he just recently released peeping tom.

Peeping Tom is pretty disappointing overall, but tracks like Five Seconds and Mojo are ace. If I'm gonna buy pop music, it's from Mike Patton that I'm buying. (H)

THIS will remain my all-time Patton favorite. (H)

Just got back from a quick trip downtown, stopped in at the local music shop and picked up these bad boys right here. Was in the mood for some summer-time takin'-it-easy music seeing as I'm on holidays for the next two weeks.. :)
