if you're sharing it with family, don't you each have personal profiles? That way, each person's desktop and settings is different and what they want, not what someone else wants ;)

Ok I decided to make it run better with this and make my desktop more cleaner.

theres also a program called styleXP, but i dun use it :S

no no u didn't understand me. I have StyleXP and many themes but what i want to change in start menu is the design.How is the old style of win9x. and the new style of xp. I want a different.
 
the skins from stylexp etc should have custom designs.... i guess you could make your own using the development progs for stylexp or something :confused:

i know. I didn't say it correctly. I don't want control panel etc links when i press start menu.

Is there any dashboard program for xp?
