Your country's wc late injuries ?

Well it seems that a lot of players got injured just before the world cup, certainly due to fatigue i guess...

For Belgium, first we got Joos Valgaeren injured since a few weeks, then last weekend Philippe Clement got injured on the cup final, then a few days ago Emile Mpenza told he couldn't be fit for the wc and finally yesterday Walter Baseggio also pulled out of the wc. All these injuries are beginning to be really annoying, i hope it doesn't continue and that no key players would be injured as we still have 3 games to play before the wc...otherwise we're in real trouble :mambo: :mambo:

And what about your countries ?

No Mpenza? Man, that's a serious loss...

Hmm, lets see: Figo, Rui Costa, Simão Sabrosa, Boa-Morte.

Figo, despite his injury, will play in the wc. Rui Costa is still a mystery, though. :(

Hey, u forgot about Sypniewski and his depression :) I've read somwhere (onefootball?) he was suposed to be a key player for Poland :D
Dont worry about Karwan, he will be OK . Zurawski and Dudek (kicked by Olisadebe;)) also have small injuries but it shouldnt be anything serious.

USA: Chris Armas :( This totally sucks!! One of the best defensive mids around, IMO. Definitely the best in the US. A regular starter on the US national team since his first cap a few years ago.

Well as u know Croatia have Tudor out which is a HUGE loss and their was also talk about simic also being out in recent days due to a muscle strain of some sort.. altough it now appears he will be fit to play.

Damn Belgium got their fair share of injuries.. i feel sorry for em i gotta admit.

This Rivaldo thing is pissing me of.....we have 2 of the best players injured ( Rivaldo and Ronaldo)......I hope we can win despite of that.

Denmark:
M. Laursen (Milan) & Sand (Schalke) are currently out with minor foot injuries...should make it in time for WC though

Tøfting (Bolton), C. Jensen (Charlton) and very important player M. Jørgensen (Udinese) haven´t played more than 10 minutes in the last games of their teams, because of having just returned from injuries...so i guess they are a bit unfit.....

The whole Ideal England first XI have had serious injuries this season bar Paul Scholes. Seaman- shoulder, Campbell - hamstring, Ferdidnand, Neville - broken foot n still out, Beckham - broken foot, Dyer - touch n go with knee injury, Ashley Cole has, Owen had those hamstring problems, Heskey is hampered by the fact that he's crap!! lol

But the only people who will definitely not go through injury are Neville and Gerrard. But Dyer is touch n go whether he'll go, so we'll see..........:(

has anybody else hearrd about spains canizares ... he dropped a bottle of after shave on his foot and will now miss the world cup because of it ...he has bad cuts and can't kick with his right ... is this true or rumour ? ??
