"Your" AI Players ..


Ive noticed a few things when playing the demo , a couple from a game Ive just played. no1 , I was a couple of yards outside the corner of box (highlighted player) and as the cpu player came towards me a team mate came from the box to stand a couple of yards to the side of me. When the cpu player came up to me I went in to challenge but the cpu player cut inside and left me standing, but before I could press to change to the player that had come out the box to stand near, he turned and ran away from the cpu player back to the penalty spot !

Ive also seen my other foward to something the same, Im on the ball (other forward) coming in field away from the left back , and I see my other forward running between the 2 centre backs, I take a stride forward and am about to hit a pass to him when he turns away and runs back about 6 or 7 yards into midfield... aggggggggggggggg!

I think it has to do with the way the players are 'instructed' in the formation-screen-->individual-->Attacking, where you can set the attacking arrows. When such an arrow points backwards, the player in question will move back on some point of the attack.
Also it is important how deep in attack your striker was positioned in the Set-Formation screen. You can move players to your preference in the edit position screen overthere.
