I got SP2, adds a bit more security such as virus scanner, firewall, pop-up blocker etc and it's fixed some security issues within the XP code. Worth downloading, it's free anyway.

I had to uninstall it. Compatibility issues with WE7I.

I downloaded it but it couldnt install, some stupid error. I guess i shouldnt worry about it though, Winning Eleven > Service Pack.

It sucks. It messed my whole network up, and when I uninstalled it, it became alright again.

I was halfway through installing it then I just cancelled since there's really nothing wrong with SP1

SP2 does fix some security issues (ie. easy acces for hackers and virusses) so unless you have both a good virus scanner, firewall, internet security (Norton) then I'd recommend installing it. I had no problems at all, everything still works fine, network actually seems to be a bit faster now!

its really good, except the implemented firewall sucks and has alot of problems (just disable it and everything is even better than before) the popup blocker is implemented very well, very classy also

well, it seems to me that everyone demanded more security, and now that they got more security they say it's not enough to make this SP a must. What do you want, a huge whole in your system so spywayre/trojanz etc can do whatever they want? As long as it doesnt cause problems on yer system it is a must for everyone who wants more security.
