XBOX Editing

I have just found that if you edit the PC version of the game, copy the FIFA.DB file to your XBOX (which needs to have a copy of your CD on its hard drive and therefore needs to be chipped) the changs show up in game no problem....

Therefore...

will the kit utility makers loom at the possibilty of something for the XBOX.. the file structure cannot be that different from the PC version

I think the file system is exactly the same except that the files are compressed on PC

Could you make the changes on the PC and create a SQUAD save and then just transfer that over the the XBOX?

All changes are possible, but the possibilities of them working in the game are low. Because we dont know what is the file structure and the compression types are used in the xbox version of the game. We definateley can change but take a guess how many cd 's you will need to made that thing work, find proper size, proper name. proper place for lence to read it. What we need is to break the structure for them.

yeah you could really screw with the XBOX game, since for a game to work on XBOX the CD needs to be without a spot, my games dont work when they have one or two finger prints on them, i doubt the game would work with a chip in it.

Now im not sure if this is what your taking about, but you could take the squad files, put them on an NTSC CD(or so says the XBOX manual) save the file on to the hard drive of the XBOX, then load it back into thr XBOX game....but thats a very long shot.

original cds are not editable, and you don't have to buy any non original cd toe dit it, only have to chip your xbox, then copy the original cd to xbox, and edit it from the pc, connected to the pc by lan

If you guys had PS2 you could buy Winning Eleven and edit there. Winning Eleven allows you to edit players appearances and stats and has the best gameplay. I am not bashing FIFA, just praising Winning Eleven.

How do I edit the fifa.db once I've ftp'd to my pc?
(ie. what program to use).

I've downloaded the Creation Center v2.0 but when I launch it says "Messgae_NotInstalled". I guess you have to have PC Fifa 2004?

9th_KoRner - your first post about cd reading shouldn't apply really as most modding with xbox is run off HDD. Apologies if I'm missing something but I never burn anything when modding Halo, GTA etc... Just change files on PC the ftp back to xbox HDD

AhmedK - Once you copy the original Fifa 2004 xbox disc to hdd (using hddloader, dvd2xbox etc) your in no danger of messing up your game. So don't worry about that.

Canary - Get an Xecuter installed by someone who knows what they're doing and you'll have no problems. Having a modded xbox with a new hdd opens loads of possibilities.

So is anyone working towards making tools for editing appearences, kits on xbox? And don't forget my first question ;) How to edit my fifa.db :)

If you also search on Xbox exploits, there is a way to Mod your Xbox with installing a Mod Chip.

I haven't tried it but it something about font files that you can copy over corrupt versions that allows a way to open up the security on the Xbox.

Some of the exploits involve hot swapping your Xbox hard drive, but you can take a backup first and put it back to it's original setting.

After installing the exploit you get a new version of the console with options that allow you to copy you games to the hard drive and run them from there, which also opens up the ability to edit them.

Off topic but is PES3, or WE coming out for xbox?.... I heard rumors but I am not sure if they were true. Also would there be a release of the game in the United States if they made an xbox version.?

First of all You can you the FIFA.db of the pc version and with ftp replace it for the xbox one.

I also managed to open the XSH-files, just like FSH files.

I also made a couple of kits and they work amazing on the xbox.
