Xbox 360 Pro Evo 6 of Fifa 07

Can you help please

My partner's son has just got an Xbox 360 for Christmas. As a long time player of Pro Evo from the days of ISS the opportunity to get the game for an Xbox 360 seems to good to miss but here's the problem, I have read so much negative stuff about it, no editing etc. Have even considered trying Fifa 07 (shudder at the thought) but all attempts at trying to enjoy EA sports offerings have always ended up back at the store.

So could someone help me make up my mind with an unbiased opinion.

Thanks

Hmmm, it's a tough one, both games are quite poor this year. Probably PES, because it still maintains it's old solid gameplay, with a few tweaks here and there (these tweaks kinda ruin the game a little though.) For example, they have slowed the game down a lot. To do this, they have taken away the pace from the passes, so it takes an age for anything to reach your players. You can't even move your player towards the ball either. And as you said, there's no edit mode. You can't even update transfers.

I played FIFA 07 and wasn't blown away, although better than previous FIFA's.

The best bet is with PES I would think though, it has it's faults but gameplay wise, it's still ahead of FIFA albeit not by much.
