XBox 360 Manager Mode Watch Without Playing

I have been looking for months. I can’t believe how difficult this is. I want to manage one season or more without having to play. Just manage and watch. Not just one game. Please don’t say Football Manager because I want to watch actual games with decent presentation; not circles moving back and forth. I like the coaching and managing element of FIFA 10 on PC and PS2, but on XBox 360, you have to play manually in pretty much every mode I believe.

I bought a whole bunch of used FIFA games for the Xbox 360 dating back to FIFA 07. I like Manager Mode but every single game requires you to choose a side to manually control your team. Lounge Mode looks fun, but I didn’t see any real management features or ways to modify your roster. So here is my request, no matter how old or how new the game is:

Console: XBox 360 Only

Mode: Manager Mode or Master League or similar

Format: Club Teams preferred not International Teams

League: I am a little more flexible on this. MLS preferably Chicago Fire. If not, I like Kuban Krasnodar in the Russian league as well and I have for years (I love soccer video games. Let’s leave the war and politics out of it please. I am generally a very peaceful person).

Right now my top candidate is PES 2018 on the XBox 360. No MLS license I can live with. But does Master League require manual control of your team during games? Looking for any feedback or suggestions.

Thanks!

I totally feel your frustration. From what you’ve described, PES 2018 sounds like a solid option. The Master League in PES 2018 does allow you to simulate matches, so you can focus on the management side without being forced to play every game. It’s a bummer about the lack of MLS license, but it’s still one of the better choices out there if you're looking to manage a club team and watch the games unfold. FIFA titles on the 360 generally require you to control the matches manually, so they might not be the best fit for your needs. If you’re open to looking beyond the 360, try newer consoles
