X-BOX FIFA 2005 Thoughts & Questions

It's that time of year again... since I got an X-box recently I want to hear what the X-box people have to say about the new FIFA... especially those like me who have played it on PS2 for years and are now switching over.

Xbox version

I have a little crisis on my hands. I own the ps2 and absolutely hated the abysmal PS2 Online rushed onto FIFA 2004. I was wondering if it's worth it to buy a new Xbox for the game since the game is amazing for the Xbox and Xbox Live, or if the PS2 version is not that bad and its better to just buy the game for the PS2.
Thanks for the feedback.

If I had an XBOX and a PS2 I wouldn't waste my time asking people on a message board which platform I should be buying the game for... Seems pretty obvious

You can't really go wrong getting the X-box although I guess it depends on what kind of games you're into... most of the popular games come out for both platforms but with X-box Live there's a distinct advantage since it's a dedicated service.

Star Wars Battlefront alone is worth getting it because of the better multiplayer support. Then there's Rainbow 6 Black Arrow and a whole slew of shooter games coming out that will support multiplayer. I was not at all impressed by EA's online capability for FIFA last year... I'm betting it will be better supported on X-box Live.

The only reason I'm holding onto my PS2 is for Socom2 and Ace Combat 5.

It can be laggy but it depends on the server and ping you choose to play in... if it doesn;t have a green light you can expect a lot of lag. Some of the hosted games are just maxed out beyond they're capacity so that causes lag too... but the game is still a lot of fun.

Alright some of you X-boxers must've gotten FIFA by now....so let's hear about it...

Can someone maybe help me,who plays fifa05 on xbox please.

I created a new player for my favourite team, fine,it worked, but when i tried to create a player for another team,it doesnt seem to go into that team roster,i tried everything.also the game manual doesnt explain anything other than the basic.
In other words,i can only use 1 created player.
Am i wrong in thinking you can create as many players as i want?
How do i do this and what am i doing wrong, if any one knows please help me.

I'm playing on XBox, and I don't know for sure because I have only created 1 player, and I put that player on my favorite team (Arsenal). But, I will try to create a player and put them on a different team to see if it works. I'll do this when I get home tonight if I remember.

I'm pretty sure that you can create as many players as you want, but I could be wrong.
