Worth Buying?

I'm considering buying the full edition after playing the demo for a while when it came out. I remember it being quite enjoyable, although matches were worse than the last version I played (FM 2006) and it had a few glitches here and there that took away from it. To those who have played it sufficiently, is it worth spending your money on? What about the patches, do they really improve the game?

I've never played FM for a challenge, I play for a fun game of management which is both realistic and easy enough to be enjoyable so I can suck and still win the CL in my first season with Ayr United. So would you recommend I buy it?

I thinks it worth it. The patches is a must install though, so many bugs without them. FM09 is quite difficult, you probably never win CL with Ayr at any time unless you're Alex Ferguson.

Your friends don't have the holiday option. My friend on the other hand can play it with the holiday option without using that thing buildings usually get after earthquakes. Anyone here interested in getting a holiday loan? (H)
