they we're tough competitors in the Portufguese first league, they'd even beat porto, benfica and sporting once in a while and go to european competitions. They we're the third best team in Oporto
then... relegated to 2nd division
then... relegated to 2nd division B for financial problems
now at 2nd B:

Ayr United - For the 2000/2001 season we came second in Scottish Division One by a point and in 2001/2002 we made the CIS Cup Final beating Stranraer 4-0, Inverness 5-1, Kilmarnock 5-4 on penalties and 1-0 against Hibernian in the Semi-Final and got beat 4-0 by Rangers in the final.
Season 2002/2003 we finished mid-table in the Scottish Division One and had managed just a 1-0 defeat at home to Rangers in the cup and should have beat them.
In Season 2003/2004 Ayr were relegated.

sorry, i love Australia but i hate Australian soccer/football and their AFL, really,and the Australian league, they copy the K and J league name, thye A LEAGUE! you so know it, that they wanna be part of the AZN confed.
Wow all those teams are pretty bad. I think the worst for the Greek league is Larissa which won the Greek league in 1988 and got relagated 3 years later. They are currently in the B league and looking to move up.

The 1st place team is automatically promoted from the B league while the 2nd and 3rd place teams will play the 14th and 15th placed teams. So if it were to happen now it would look like this
