Hi, I initially had that problem concerning editing last names. After playing around with my controller for about fifteen minutes, I figured out you only have to press select to go from first to last name. Pressing space will not do it, just press select and you will see a faint flashing dash on the last name zone or nothing at all, but go ahead and edit. When you edit a last name, the player's new last name shows up on the back of his shirt. I am creating River Plate now, I made the front and back of their uniform since the stripe is in both the front and back of their uniforms. The name and player number is written in white so in order to better them from a distance I put a black box on the back of the shirt to make the white lettering more visible. This game is so cool, in terms of uniform editing.

I also want to add River Plate and Juan Riquelme for Boca. Do you have a sharkport by any chance to upload your roster? Sorry I do not have a Sharkport. Go to http://www.soccerassociation.com/ to find the current roster in the Argentine League Section. I edit by looking at the stats. If anyone knows how to make the FBs play like Roberto Carlos let me know. I put in push wings formation but it does not seem to work. They always stay back. The other option that I might try is to give the defender a higher offensive skills rating than the defensive skills. I have given FBs high take on ratings but this seems to make no difference.
Yeah... I saw the problem with making overlap too. I played as REAL MADRID to see is Robero Carlos would do it, but the only way I get him to move forward was to start with him in the back, run forward to the midfield, pass to the midfielder, then move the midfielder back a bit... then the fullback will overlap for the return pass. I was using push on sides so maybe that does help.

I played this weekend with my Nephew and 2 friends. The multiplayer in this game is really good. it is exciting and simple, but always feels realistic. It is even better to play with a friend because you can really open spaces and get very realistic play.
I am not playing ISS or FIFA now. I tried to play both agian for comparison but I couldn't like it anymore.
This will be my football game for a while, at least until something much better is released in the US.

Funny thing I heard in a Real soccer game of mine this weekend. The other team got an offside and disallowed goal. One of the other team says "I really like fifa cause you can just turn off offside and OWN!" I thought that was really stupid.

I have the Aussie release of This is Football 2002, called This is Soccer 2002,' for some reasons we Aussies don't understand the word Football' and i was wondering if your versions 'Usa' have got the play in the School Yard option with the school Carlos*ets for goal posts. Under the selection of Competitions - Special Competitions - Jumpers 4 Posts. And yes, it is a not too bad game once that you get the hang of it, but one of the downers is trying to direct and position the low shots.
Yes, we have the school yard too. I thought the option sounded very cool but then I saw it in the game and it is very dumb. I wish they made a little school park instead.
Maybe with wood post instead of the metal one's or lots of oxidization on the metal and old broken nets, Just Like My League hehehe.

Hey Fusionfan, it is happening to you (the passing back) because when you hit x to pass your holding it down to long , just a light tap, if you hold it down or hit it twice real quick, it is a pass back, which can help you sometimes 
Pickng to lower corners, isnt really hard to do, just hard to explain... It all relates to how your facing and the direction your going etc. Keep trying, cause it is easier to do then it is to explain.

Thanks Gazza, I noticed that what you said is correct. I have not played lately because I have been to busy with school. As for aiming, I believe the instruction booklet tells you how to aim although it is a bit complicated. I like the realism in the game of forwards making bad shots or a bad first touch.

Yeah, things are good now, as long as the MLS extra time 2002 is better then last and wekeep getting WTS, why bother with the joke that is EA's Fifa.. there was a time that Fifa was fun and realistic. It was a long time ago.

Have you beat the all time 22 team under special competition? I have played them twice..losing 2-1 and 2-0. Both times failing to win the competition because of these loses. I play a 4-2-4 with the European All-stars and just get shut down totally. Any tips?

is Galatasaray in this game ?
Decado: No there is no cheap goals in this game (lobs etc) You can catch the goalie charging off his line by chipping him, but it is hard to pull off. This game is not fifa as the AI is incredibly challenging on both sides of the ball.
Terrorcop: I haven't played UEFA 2002 so I can't honestly compare both games. WTS 2002 plays more and more like Winning Eleven and ISS pro...The 2 best soccer simulations ever. The gameplay is real and outstanding!

Recoba20, I have been very bust just trying to win the premiership on World Class level, Man-U and is 12 pt ahead and Arsenal is 10, I can get close though this season playing with boro, and depending on how I do, I may go to Master level. I havent tried anything but nation season and world cup. But I willbe sure to play everythign the game offers.. so much cool stuff int his game to keep my interest.
TerroCop, the game has virtually no sweet spots or auto goals... because each team differs so much, the player stats which I think there are 16 or 20 stats per player, really matter. for passing, and shooting, so you cen get a one on one with the keeper and easily miss do to your strikers shooting accuracy or the keepers ability. Its a better then FIFA 2002 or MLS games when it coems to everything, specially shooting, cause you pick where on the goal and what type of **** your trying, but you players shoot Accuracy, Power, and offensive skills make the shot more or less successfull getting on target and the keepers stats matter too. Unlike Fifa or mls where a professional player and get a wide open shot and miss it 5 out of 10 times, cause your aiming wrong or something, It makes the game look like true footy. And trust me you miss enough anyway.
