Hi i tried playing this but it loads to the video page and exits out and it says FIFA08.exe has stopped working.. can any 1 help me please?

hey man no one has replied to my problem.i have installed the patch but when i launch and chose the english language the game exits.if i select any other language my game runs alright.but when i launch fifa 08.exe the game runs with all languages.is this bcoz some files r missing?

Nobody here seems to have this problem only for english language so I don't know why this could happen to you. Surely there are all files needed for english language (if you have english language in your FIFA): try to reinstall the patch, I don't know.

Try reinstall the patch. And try to run the patch with the bat launcher you find in the fifa folder

Delete manually these files:
1) all files called WNP08_xx.big in FIFA 08\data where xx stands for a number
2) all files called WNP08_xx.bh in FIFA 08\data where xx stands for a number
3) the folder WNP in FIFA 08\data
4) the folder WNP_assetCmn in FIFA 08\data\gui
5) the folder WNP_assets in FIFA 08\data\gui
6) the folder WNP_loading in FIFA 08\data\gui
7) the file called WN08.fat in FIFA 08\data
8) the files called locWNP.ini, WNP_ bat_Launcher.bat, WNP_Installer.bat, WNP_Uninstaller, WNP08.exe

Do you think to be able to delete all these files without making trouble? PLEASE DELETE ONLY THE FILES WITH THE GIVEN NAME, NO OTHER FILES WITH SIMILAR NAMES!!!

Kits of some teams, like Cyprus or Bosnia-Herzegovina, don't work. These teams have kits of some addded teams in the normal FIFA 08....

What can i do?

This is very strange. I explain you why:
the patch copies the zdata from 01 to 43 of your FIFA and then rename the copies in WNP08_xx.big where xx stands for the number. Given that patch WNP08 files are greater than 44 your game has to read first kits in zdata_44 and then other kits in other zdata with lower number. So it should find Cyprus and Bosnia kits before finding your added teams kits.
If you didn't touch anything in WNP08 files try reinstall the patch, I don't know

Try to open the patch with the CM with the proper runner you find on the first page then try to see in the teams if they have the right kits or wrong ones

You have to thank gigis1, the patch is his creation!

The CM shows the wrong graphics, too. Maybe you can make a .cmp-patch for the mode, wich adds the right graphics. This would be very nice.
