i tell you what was wrong with this competition??? the fact that idol winners from like 2 yrs ago got to compete. i would say let all shows worldwide be made around the same time. this is because it would make it fairer for everyone!!

i mean for example: englands idol was the first idol, now 2-3 yrs later guy sebastian (australian idol) were competing for the same title!! that isnt fair coz the brit would have developed a fan base if his song was played around the world, whereas the australian is left in the dark. that is how it is with kelly, she has vertually already taken the world by storm. im not dissing her i think she is great and all of that. but do you deserve to be a proper world idol after u have released 2-3 albums and a few singles worldwide?

the show wasnt really like eurovision!! in eurovision the singers are all really minors from their respective countries!! now kelly is a professional and guy is still not the calibre fan wise and album wise. i am saying that if u want to make this world idol like eurovision give the latest winners from all the countries not the expereienced ones!!

really the honest truth is, this is the most boring but realistic post i have ever written!!!

There have been two seasons of American Idol, Kelly Clarkson won the first season and Ruben Studdard won the second. Both have albums, and I believe Ruben's was more successful. Clay Aiken, the American Idol second season runner-up, has a bigger fanbase than both of them and also has a record. I believe all of them have gone platinum. Anyway, my point is that you can say it is unfair for Kelly to be in since she already has an album, but Ruben Studdard has one too. They are both professionals. I think Ruben is better than Kelly as well.

Explain to me the Shifty how im a twat for getting a name wrong? i only heard of his name when i watched it this morning

The competition is very similar to Eurovision, not just because of the points system. Many of the contestants treated it as such, basically the whole thing was Euro-trash but with a world flavour the 5 others (USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa and Pan-Arab) tried to give it credability but in the end even Simon Cowell (there you are The Shifty) didnt show up on the final surprising since its all his idea and all his money (probably knew the result).

This was all for Kelly really she would have won to give the show cred in the states for the third season, much like Popstars and other talent-reality tv shows... the idol concept is dieing (even before it reached what people wanted it to reach).

Ofcourse people like Cowell and Dickson (both whom are pretty big record company executives) will pop up now and then but i doubt we'll see a World Idol 2 next year, going on what I saw this morning.

No one treated it seriously - judges were missing (and its not because "ohh this is the artists time" - why now? why not during the final show of the artists respective victories in their countries) the results show'd again eurovision flavour - even the high lights of the worst auditions and of the contestants themselves are similar to recaps of Eurovision.

Guy was ripped off, simply because he wasnt ugly enough, hasnt been aoround long enough, and I think being an Aussie wouldnt have helped (as it wouldnt have helped kelly to be american)...

Guy was handsdown the best performer, his voice was better than Mr Norway, I think the judges went overboard with their Mr Norway compliments because he was so damn ugly...And the audience voted for the norway dude because no one likes being superficial....

Truth is, Guy had better audience interaction, and his voice was better...Perhaps Wonderful World wasnt thesbest choice of song, but 7th for him is just ridiculous...

In all honesty, I think Guy was best, then Kelly, then Mr Norway, then Candada, then the arab, then the pom...The rest you can put basically anywher...with the german last :)

good for that kurt ugly a$$...I saw it today with my friend and
he had sucky voice and when he was singing beautiful day part his pronunciation broke!! he said "Beua~~~te~~~~ful~~~ day" I think his teeth cause it!!! anyway I think Jamai or Kelly deserved it more when i listened to them today!!!

I just saw the replay of the result and WTF is good about Kurt!!!!
His voice sux compare to other (only it goes high but still sux)
I think Kelly or Guy should've won!!
