Since nor-rbk can't run me and him have agreed that I can calculate the standings and post them along with the trophies at the end.
There has also been a change in the scoring system and it is as follows:
Brazil - Germany 3-0
exact score: 3 points
correct winner (1-0, 2-0, 3-1 etc...): 1 point
wrong winner (0-1, 0-2, 0-3 etc...): 0 points
Brazil - Germany 1-1
exact score: 3 points
draw predicted (0-0, 2-2, 3-3 etc...): 1 point
no draw predicted: 0 points
As you can see there will be no extra point given for correct goal differential and also no extra point given for predicting a draw. Reason for the change? One, it is easier to calculate (which is why I took out the extra point for the draws and also the standings will be posted faster) and two, it makes the PL as a whole more competitive because the goal differential is complete blind luck so if some are less lucky than others they are not affected.
I've calculated all of the scores so far for everyone. I will post the standings as soon as the Tunisia vs. Saudi Arabia game is over.
PS: Correct prediction of the World Champion and Top Goalscorer will get 10 points for each category added onto their total after the final game is over.
