Wow. just wow.
Was watching this at a pub and I could hear the boos when USA got drawn with Italy, Czech Rep. and Ghana. This guy who was from Ghana was like "ESSIEN ESSIEN ESSIEN" ... everyone kept staring at him..
anyway... tough tough group. I'm optimistic about Italy's chances but not sure about USA.
Exciting stuff though. Heidi Klum looked good.. would have been nice to see Adriana Karembeu as well since her husband was there. Next time it should just be supermodels doing the draws in revealing clothing.
No one wants to see Pele up there who btw pisses me off. Its like he thinks he should be there at every footballing event just because hes Pele. He keeps talking about Brazil and compares every world cup team to his... sheesh..who cares... we get it... you support Brazil. Enough already.
Not too pleased with the groups. I don't know how USA are going to come out of this. At least Italy won't be taking it lightly.

So the Italy, Ghana, Czech & USA group is statistically the 'group of death', but really this time around there really isn't one that sticks out, unlike last time, but that was due to 2 weak nations being seeded (Japan & Korea).
Group G, France, Swiss, Korea & Togo is the weakest group, and we're in the 2nd hardest. However, many of the FIFA rankings are complete ****e, so it's just a guide.

Anyway, back on track, i think England's group aint too easy aswell, Paraguay and Sweden are tough teams.

This seems to be the hard matches now a days, teams like Iran, Angola, Togo etc, ones that generally people dont expect to do well will somehow do amazing in the WC. Should be an interesting world cup, i rate that most teams are pretty balanced so it sould be lots of fun to watch. Hopefully there will be good refs this time too
