With Fossati as coach I'd say everyone is several classes above us.

The way I see it, Australia will draw with Japan and Croatia and lose to Brazil.

There are two points of view. It depends on who you ask. If you want to bash Spain, you can say Korea beat them. If you want to defend them, you can say the ref disallowed 2 legit goals.

Spain lost the game in the penalties. However it's difficult to feel like you lose when the ref steals you 2 goals. They didn't even have to play the quarters since they robbed Italy before..

I like Holland, but for some reason I just don't think they're a great team. I'm unconvinced by their midfield and defense. And does Makaay even play for you guys? In my predictions I have them going out to Germany.

Oh come on, Shifty. Holland has arguably the BEST midfield there is out there! Van der Vaart, van Bommel, Sneijder, Cocu, Landzaat, Maduro and Davids? Compared to Germany's stand-out case of... Schweinsteiger. And no, Makaay does not for play for us, there's not even an assurance he'll be selected into the 23-man squad. He does not fit our playing style, that's as simple as it is.

I think Italy USA Ghana and Czech have the hardest group because within themselves they are more equal to each other than Argentina and Ivory coast.
