Working on DB help needed

Hello,

I work on a classic or historical patch for FIFA08
I want to edit the DB to put some teams like Argentina 1978 in place of Nigeria. I see with CM or DB master that the edition is okay but when i launch the game i dont see the modification. So

DO i make something wrong ? Is it impossible to edit or do i have to creat new teams and players?

I think you have to give us more information about your problem, post screenshots etc...

Maybe your team isn't yet linked to a specific league. So you can't choose it in firendlys.

#1 with CM 08 you dont have to replace a team you can create a new team.

also did you add the team to a league? you don needs to use DB Master at all anymore CM 08 takes care of everything. that is probably why it doesn't work. use CM08 and create a blank team and do everything there. than save. should be fine.

I have no screenshot but i can tell this

1°I choose to update teams in place of create new ones. So Nigeria is becoming Argentina '78.

2° I dont know how to create a new team with CM, and it seemed to me that with all the links between, teams skills etc it was easier to do that.

3° I used DB Master because somebody wrote it was possible to exoport the files in excel. I Wanted that because after my teams will be created i will use excel to massive edition. After that i wanted to import the file edited in excel in FIFA 08

4° I f i create teams with CM i have to link them in a league but here these teams will be historical teams. So can i creat a league ?
