You sure about that? I've even checked through the EA website and I haven't found the download. Maybe I'm looking poorly, lol, but can you post the link for it here then? Would really appreciate it (Y)

You cannot mix and match in game editing (which the patched rosters count as) and editing the database with third party tools.

Having said that, I will take a look at the new patch file and see if I can resurrect EAFFPatchRollup, which merged the patch details into the FIFA.DB to give you an editable version of the patched rosters. This will be more complicated than for FIFA 07 and FIFA 08 (for which there is an existing version) because EA have changed the way the players table is handled and the patch only includes those entries that have been updated.

Please note that I am not making any promises but I am currently working on handling the players table differently in FF10DUMP and it might be that I can use the same logic as a starting point for the roll up routine.

i was attempting the same thing steve, ill leave it to you though as you seem a bit more experienced in that area of editing.

Well I wouldn't necessarily stop in the hope that I can get the patch roll up process working because there are no guarantees (in FIFA 07/08 it was much simpler because I just added the patch file contents to the end of the database and updated a whole raft of internal pointers)

Editing, not really - my FIFA is unmodified from the original install - but I do know my way around the internals of the database and save files. The original intention with EAFFPatchRollup was to provide a way for the editing community to incorporate the patched rosters whilst enabling people to keep playing with their existing tournaments and careers. However, that proved a bridge too far (the shape of the save files is inextricably linked with the layout of the database - specifically the number of entries in certain tables dictate the size of the associated areas in the save file) so simply not moving any of the existing strings (which I thought was the root cause of the crashes that people saw when trying to use an existing manager mode file after editing the database) was not good enough.

Rinaldo attempted to address part of this issue using his Save My Career tool, but that was an imperfect process because it tried to work its magic using only the modified database and I'm convinced that in order to do it properly you need the database from which the saved game was generated as well as the updated database.

Anyway, all of which is simply a long-winded way of reiterating 'that I am not making any promises'

Let me guess, you've modified your database using CM10 (or third party patches)?? In game changes are not compatible with external database editing
