Winning lobs

I find it hard to win lobs. When I don't want to head it, what can I do to just chest the ball, then be able to dribble? And are there any tips on positioning to win these balls?


(On a seperate note, it just bugs me so much that the computer goalie is never caught off his line, and that lobs are only effective 1v1 when the goalie charges!)
