Although the screens do look sort of like plastic they are a huge improvement over the polygons of the past. I think we are a step closer to real life like images. Its just a matter of time. ......and programming.

Am I the only person who thinks it looks like nothing more than the PC version(due to the higher resolution) of PES5 with nothing more than shaders and mapping added?

well, yes... but what did you expect? the smell of flesh and grass through your gamepad?
people expect always to much. I think the graphics are nice.
I always found PES graphics better than FIFA ones (on a high res PC at least)
I traded PES 5 PC online for FIFA world cup on xbox360 online, just for the graphics and widescreen and playing on a 40 inch samsung, even though i know how much better pes is than fifa.
So i know i'll me amazed by pes6 on xbox360. The graphics will get better, new animations, widescreen...
The only thing that really pisses me is that on PC we can patch the game to look awesome and have everything, and on 360 we wont be able to do that (at least i think so). But i'm not gonna have a high end PC nest year, so i will do all my gaming in xbox360. I'm done with PC gaming, cant afford it.
I'll just miss the patches, but im not worried about the graphics. They will be good. But anyway, PES was always about gameplay (even though most people complain about the graphics and say fifa ones are better, something wich i disagreee with)

Maybe! But....

Don't you think everything is better than the graphics are now? They've been working on PES 360 since last september last year. Have you seen some games on the 360 on the E3? Fabulous!

I think the graphics will certainly impress a lot of people. Hopefully they'll give us some more screenshots soon (and off course some gameplay vids).

I like the graphics. It's a hell of an improvement over PES5 which is always nice. Certainly is Pro Evolution Soccer. :rockman:

Just been on my internet travels and I came across some more screenies. I think these are for the PS2 version though the quality isn't the best.

How the heck can you judge it before the game is released? Konami's already making the game for the next generation console. So what's with what you said. (:/)

seems so. I think they are doing a great job on the licenses, which is also important to get more buyers, which mean more budget, which means a better game :jap:

no i was talking about the screenies posted b4 the ps2 ones, and i was talking abotu grafix of course, it is impossible to really bag out konamis gameplay as it stands and seeing that there have only been 2 pics released out of anything on the game

Anybody heard of a good old X-Box version? think Konami (probably demanded by Microsoft) is gonna skip this version!

I had to laugh about this gamespot feature. like any mainstream gaming site is ever gonna write something else about a new PES other than: "Seabass and his team have once again improved the already outstanding game and bettered it on all levels!".

That said, I read in a German mag that 6 willl be trying to get back to some of the better features of 4, specifically players will be more reactive again and it will be a lot easier for the casual gamer to score on on the mid levels. Gone are the sour and boring 1 goal a game scorelines of PES 5. They also mentioned that the notorious "world-class striker misses open goal from 3 feet out so that game stays tight" feature of PES5 is going to be toned down considerably. We have to wait and see whether it's not going to be replaced by an even more idiotic element, but if true than THANK YOU KONAMI. My prayers have been heared.

Anyway, no matter how the new game will turn out I still will be in the store on realease day to grab one. After the blunder that 5 was, I can only say: stupid me. But so what..
