"E3 2006: Konami Readies New Winning Eleven
The company adds X360 and the DS to the soccer roster.

May 9, 2006 - It may not be shocking, but that doesn't keep it from being a delight: Konami today announced Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007, the latest entry in the company's soccer franchise.

The new Winning Eleven adds faster gameplay, better controls, and sharpened A.I. The game will support intelligent runs without the ball, and players show more physicality -- defenders jockey for position and strikers work to turn opponents. Shooting and volleys are also being refined.

The title also offers game modes such as International Challenge, Random Selection Match, and an expanded Master League mode. Winning Eleven will also feature new teams, including Argentina, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden.

Look for Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 to reach stores next January for PlayStation 2, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and the PC."

I got this from IGN.com

Gameplay impressions will be posted on Gamespot tomorrow (or today depending on where you live)

The player models look amazing, but i really hope they do away with the whole "skin looks like a plastic bottle" thing

I'm starting to get pumped.....really pumped ;)

Weird impression with those screeshot...
the "general shape" of the body is worse than in PES5... and as already said, the "plastic" feeling worries me. It looks like FIFA :(

Waiting for true gameplay videos !!!

There's a certain bad trend developing with the next-gen games. Every screenshot of next-gen we see seems to have that unrealistic plastic feel to it. About 95% of next-gen screenshots I've seen look plastic.

And Terry doesn't even look anything like the real Terry, these screenshots reminds me of FIFA a little too much for my liking. Then again, it's early days and I'm sure Konami will release an awesome game in the end.
