Basically the same bud.

Winning Eleven is the name used fo Pro Evolution Soccer in Japan and North America. Although the Japanese version is a little faster and arcade like the North American version is the same.

So saying WE can't touch PES is a bit silly cos they're effectively the same game just under different release titles!

And by the way, I have yet to see any soccer game released over the past five years which is worse than FIFA 2003 so don't even bother lumping in FIFA with the other titles.

But WE6 [the jap. ver.] is less arcade like.

PES and WE6i is are the ones that have a more arcade feel to it.

Just to make things clear.. ^^

and Raven it is...

PES is nearly the exact same thing as WE. I don't know what you're trying to get at -.-;;

PES is just an update for WE5, PES is just updated WE6. they're the same game you moron, albeight some differences that a non-footballer like yourself couldn't even notice.

Just right...the Pes seriees is a litlle more "speedy" than We series.But they are basically the same. :mrpimp:

I disagree with the last post. At the end of the day PES2 is good especially in 2 player mode but in my personal opinion Fifa is the best.I have killed PES2 and am bored of it. No linesman cr*p sound/chants. Abysmal head doing music. Anywayz.. Games are meant to be fun and Fifa is! So stop dissin it. I'll put money on it that EA releases a more fun and complete game than anything Konami no- liscences can offer. In my own insignificant and humble opinion hee

EXACTLY! Key word being "simulation" I used to play those corny a** fifa games. I've been playing WE for like a year and a half and every once in a while, I can't believe I used to play that lame a** crap. FIFA has NOTHING on any konami football games. To even compare them is laughable. The only thing FIFA fans can ever come up with as a reason FIFA is better is that FIFA has licences. That reason gets lamer and lamer every time I hear it. What the f*ck is the use of having licenses if the game plays like sh*t?? And I'm not talking about older FIFA titles either. I'm talking about FIFA 2003. Played the demo and laughed at how far from football that game really is...

fifa is not fun, I play 1 game and it feels like it lasts 30 mins instead of 12, WE i play 4 hrs and it feels like I only played 20 minutes.

Everyone who thinks winning eleven is better than fifa HAS already played both games. So i recommend that u guys at least try playing Winning eleven first, and then after that if you have any complaints, we will respect that.

It's the same old story bud, the only people who attack WE6/PES2 and prefer FIFA are people who have never even played the Konami series or have seen a small 140x140 6 second clip of the game and decided it's not for them. I have never heard any hardcore FIFA fan come up with any good reasons as to why they think FIFA is a better game than WE6/PES2. You just get the same old BS about real names in the game. They like to ignore the fact that the FIFA gameplay is sh*t and concentrate on the fact that Veron has an earring in FIFA 2003 so it must be a better game than WE6! Pleeaasssee! Just ignore the numbskulls who review WE6 when it's so painfully obvious they haven't played the game for two minutes in their life.
