Chill man.

I remember when going from Fifa2003 to PES3. I hated it. The players felt so heavy and like they are running on ice and stuff but when I adapted and learned to control them it was amazing. I felt ltitle like that for PES4. In the beginning it was different and felt bad. I thought I will play PES3 another year to wait for Fifa 2006 or PES5 but hey now I am loving it cause I learned it.

I know the same thing will be with WE9. It's new. It takes a while to adapt to and learn all new things. Things are different and has to be done in another way. We know a way now but it will work in another way in PES5 and WE9.

A smart guy once said. The things we do not know about we fear. This was said about rasism and other cultours but it can be said about things to. The things we do not know how to do, we do not like.

Give it time. Take a break and then go play again. Don't give up untill you win against 5 stars or 6 stars or whatever and when you have won it means you have started to learn the game and you will start to like it and soon you will love it.

Can anyone tell me if there any new celebrations in the game, and if there is like a team huddle celebration like arsenals.
So far ive only seen drogba celebration. OH and how are the crowds??

Yea, i'm wondering same thing and also all the new skills and Free kick animatiions, there is also penalty animations

I played another game just now. A 10 min game and I won 3-0 against Barca with Real.
2 nice goals

Anyway I am worried... The thing is... Ronaldo seem to suck and that means players like Henry, Shevchenko aren't as good as they were in WE8 and PES4.
The dribbling... It feels so instable. Clumsy moves. I can't control every inch anymore. The ball bounces away and goes far away from Ronaldos foot so easy.

The animation though its so cool and the commentaries are good. Although I do not understand japanase.
I am disturbed by the way players run with the ball. Girls run like that after they have been getting it in the ass. They are like bouncing forward like they are hurt or something...
The passing wont be a problem though its just a learning cause I think I have learning it now.
I love dribbling. I am a striker in real and I love it sooo much. I can't describe with words how much I love it. This is what made me go from Fifa to PES. Dribbling the keeper, players, tunnels oh man it's what I love the most. SO this really bothers me...
I've heard English patches are out, but where can I find one?

I can't understand how someone can say that WE9 sucks.
It's easily the best footy I've ever played.

I tried playing PES4 today, after having a taste of WE9 yesterday, and it sucked. I can't go back to PES4 now.

That's how great of an imporvement WE is. I can't wait for PES5 so I can understand more than the main menu, see the new kits and have all the transfers done. It will be by far the best thing.

WE9 ruined me so I can't play anything else now.

I was delighted with the way players move and the way you dribble. It's so realistic.

And the thing you mentioned about Ronaldo is perhaps the best thing of all in the game. If you can really learn how to play with a certain player, and if he's good, then you're unstoppable. I tried Ronaldinho at first and I could usually dribble my way thru two players but then I'd lose it easily. Now I can make it thru four defenders even, and that's against a buddy of mine who is hard to dribble because he knows my movements already.
The thing is, no player will ever stand out just because of his stats. Just because Ronaldo is fast and accurate doesn't mean you'll score a goal in 10 matches. You have to get used to him, learn his best moves and get to control him better. With Ronaldinho, I used to dribble a lot with R2, and I failed mostly. But now I use more complicated dribbles that are obviously harder to do but once you get the hang of it, you can create havoc. My mate used to deal with Ronaldinho easily until I changed the way I played. He can't stop me anymore when I'm controling Ronaldinho. I once managed to dribble thru 4 of his players (virtually his whole midfield) and assist Eto'o who scored while marked by two players. This is because I'm playing with Barca all the time and I've gotten used to them.

You'll rock with Ronaldo once you practice a little.

I can't describe how good this game is.

One other thing: do you guys think players get injured a lot? Because I still haven't finished a game with Barca where Ronaldinho didn't pick up a knock.

People who say that WE9 is not good are not people that truly understand the essence of this game. These people mostly play FIFA so there is nothing left to say. Every WE is better than its previous one and that its due to more extreme realism etc. What do you exepct to see? And also remember that Konami announced that the big change in the series will be WE10 and PES6 respectively.

This is the best footie game ever created. Even if they change a simple thing in each release i am more than happy.

PS: FIFA sucks and keeps copying WE & PES. Check out FIFA 2006 features and see resemblances.

I think some of you are missing the point.

If you want a game that you can just pick up any time you want, is easy to learn and fun to play for a short period of time then what you really want is FIFA.
If you're looking for indepth gameplay, a game that takes time and a bit of dedication to master then you'll want PES.

It's as simple as that.

I was quite disapointed by PES4 but from what I've seen in terms of screenshots and videos PES5 looks like it's a huge improvement and I can't wait to get my hands on it. The real improvement will come on the next-gen consoles (most likely PES6), that's what I'm really looking forward to.

I wanna know that too... cuz i edit the mexican players stats a little cuz they make em really sh*tty, but it didnt change for the ML in last year's game.

Did i read it right?????No crowd for specific cameras???Oh boy,i can't remember such a thing since '96.Hell i don't remember it in fact in other soccer game.And let me imagine that the PC version will also suffer from this as it will be just a port version,although there is no slow-down with the previous version of PC.God that's why i hate Konami,just give us now some ATARI 2600 graphics with a better gameplay cause PS2 can't handle it,hahahahahahahahaha.
As for the gameplay,i'll have to wait and see it,i don't say that it sucks BUT if there is still pc cheating,if the AI sucks BIG TIME in some cases (check those lovely goals in the best gif goals to admire it) and the well known bugs as the player stopping runing after a long shot then you can keep it guys and i'll be playing some older installments.
Oh and about the gameplay that so many people keep saying,do yourself a favour and play some old installments in the first PSX (not the first versions of ISS) and see if it's more of a simulation than everything Konami has released the last 3 years.
