I use keyboard to play. On lots of times, I shoot the ball so like a kicker kicking a (american) football for field goal. Is there anyway I can control this or a tip to shoot the ball lighter? Yes, I know about the shoot power bar but it moves damn so fast just like any other power bars in that game.

exactly, I scored more goals from outside a box with R2 (it's shot "flatten"), ball goes on the ground

When u shoot, don't keep your hand on the "up" button on the D-Pad because that increases the height of the shot. Press down and left and right to keep the ball down and direct it.

also shots going into sky often when you play with double speed, it increases shot bar speed too unfortunately (eg. making triple shot feint is rather immposible to perform)

lol. No it's not u can press right and down at the same time, just press them diagonally.

What is R2 suppose to do? Am I suppose to press R2 alone? Or is it while holding onto R2 then shoot? Or is it pressing R2 and shoot at same time?

Tapping doesn't work.

After reading your responses, what I started doing was that I let go the direction keys then shoot. It got just a little bit better. Do you guys do crosses well?

When you said down/left or down/right? It's kinda confusing because when you press down, your player is moving either left or right depending on where your goal is. When I press down, the player moves parallel to halfline. When I press left/right, the player moves parallel to sidelines.

do you know what is Training Mode or one star difficulty ? just try various type of shots by yourself
and you press down/left, down/right after pressing shot and before relasing it
shots with R2 = shots while holding R2
I scored many goals with ball on the ground from outside the box in that way
also when you running with R1, tap the shot slightly, similar effect
