why did EA include its useless there is nothing to train...

It would probably make some sense if it were in career mode for individual training

ex:

If you wanted to train your players dribbling you would have to
make special moves in training with the player you had dribbling training assigned to or for shooting you would have to perform some great shots with the player you have shoot training assigned to.

or they could have made it just like theyve done it in madden nfl 2004

Right guys ????

Anyway this canada team is getting on my nerves why dont they get the sack and the nfl team can continue programming the game.

You could work with individual players that you would like to work it, the player has an option of getting better. I agree they should have done it the way madden did it.

If you had to do that procedure EVERY time you want to train a player it would surely bore you to hell. The training mode is very usefull to me and helped me alot with Free-Kicks and one-on-one situations where it's just you and the keeper and the goal.

That's just my opinion, and please tell me how did Madden do it.

madden did it nicely, lets say you are in preseason! and there is training for QB's, WR's RB's etc... you train your QB through few drills and if you do good he gets few points to hist overall skill, you can only train one player though, then you move on to WR and RB's and DE etc, its pretty nicely done. i wish fifa has done it this way.

I totally agree with you about the training. They really could do it like in Madden. And why didn't they? Simply reason: 'cause FIFA 2004 has been produced in Canada. EA-Sports UK, god damn it... look what guys at UK did with FIFA 2003: an revolutionary improvment, and now somehow I have a feeling that we're back to old days...

they should do it like pes training
fifa training is so boring, expected much more of the training mode. With free kick you cant even choose your own position??????????????????????????????:kader:

Training mode Very well explained up there and yes I think the game is going backwords but still I do have some faith in the game the game gets boring when playing with lower teams but when I played with arsenal or some other top quality team I could see the difference between players dribbling passing shooting and I have to admit it I really love that but still somethings not right sometimes I get the feeling as if I were playing real soccer and suddenly it changes and I feel I have no control on the field anymore and when thinking about the bugs ghost players on replays unsupported gamepads(creative USB MY GAMEPAD) lacking menu very slow and it takes ages to see if players condition is good or not mouse button timings wrong skills showing up on on the field team management screens

oh my god what can I say......

Anyway back to topic....

Last FIFA game to be made in the UK was FIFA 98...

That Madden training thing sounds pretty sweet. Hope the FIFA team can include something like that in the future.

Madden training versus FIFA 2004 training

FIFA 2004 training is helpful as far as learning the corners, free kicks, etc. This is a major improvement over last year! You can get used to it instead of struggling through games because you can't get it right.
Madden trains you at different positions on the field. You train at passing, running, defending and simply getting your timing right with the controls. For a FIFA 2005 training mode to be similar you would have to have drills for the backs, the forwards, the keepers, etc.
The one thing you should be able to train on is penalty kicks. How many games do they occur? A lot, right? You could train as the shooter or the keeper. Maybe this will appear next year if enough people ask. Hopefully we won't ask for too much which will leave no room for features we like!
The game is the important thing, the training is secondary.
