Why the game so slow?

Hi guys,i need help,my FIFA 2003 run super slow on my com,i got Geforce 2 MX with 32MB ram,but it seems like my com is using the software rendering,how can i select it to hardware rendering?or anyone knows why it run so slow on my com? THANKS a lot for ur help!

I had the same problem .It was my USB mouse that caused it, so I used an ps2 adapter on my usb mouse and it was solved ,If you have not got an adapter then just use an ps2 mouse ,OK. This completely solved my slow down , hope it helps you .

i got the exact same graphic card as u and the game also ran slow on my comp, but after i have deleted the cc it went much faster, so if u have cc on your comp delete it.

On my game with the same graphics card I'm playing at 1024x768 on medium details with the 30.82 drivers getting 20-30FPS

Mine is a combo mouse,it uses a ps/2 to rs-232 adapter and I cannot change it to ps/2.
A4Tech4Dplus.
And I too suffer from the slow game problem.
Can this be the cause?

Its the USB mouse

Guys...Y2rich is absolutely correct....the USB mouse if you have one connected is the reason Fifa 2003 runs so slow...put a PS2 mouse adaptor on the mouse and couldnt believe it...the game runs bang on...actually had the same problem with the game Iron Cross but was too dump to take off the the USB mouse when the answer was staring me in the face...my mouse wouldnt move across the options correctly or let my save the game... ...

Same Prob Not Fixed!!

I have the same problem with my geforce mx400 32mb. I took the USB mouse off and no change in speed. I have already tried all viewable options in soccer.ini, and nothing worked?

Any other suggestions?
