Why should we keep buying Fifa games released by EA?

What i have wrote forze is how it is, you only have to read the posts too see that, i am sorry if you feel offended in any way , that was not my intention, but you have too feel for the majority of people who really really feel let down again by easports and their promises, i suppose the term " the truth hurts " comes into play here.

All this complaining! Yes I play Fifa 2004. Yes there are plenty of mistakes made by my fellow Canadians at EA. When things start to bother me about the game I do the best thing I can. Shut if off, go outside and play the REAL game. I play and referee and no FIFA product will give me more satisfaction than that. Remember. IT IS JUST A VIDEO GAME. Get off your arses and kick the ball with your own foot. Maybe you'll get good enough to have your own name in a FIFA product.;)

Thats a good idea. But I disagree on one thing, I really do like the FIFA 2004. You have to admit that it is WAY better than 03. And it is much more realistic and true to life

" and then you have the small 25% of people who really won't have a bad word said against easports, those who also must lie to themselves maybe lie is the wrong word lets say convince themselves that really fifa 2004 is a great game ".forze is one of them. No offense, I think I should be going to Pes forum.

But the FIFA games are absolutely awesome compared to the cricket games where EA seem to put no effort at all.

Fifa Games are always improving and its impossible to get a PERFECT game so you will always be complaining.

Speaking of EA Sports games that are horrible, I bought Rugby 2004, without playing it, thinking it would be alot like the first rugby game that EA made for the PS2...boy was I in for it. I played 3 games of Rugby 2004, and haven't played it since. I can say whole-heartedly that Rugby 2004 is the worst EA Sports game ever.

Im pretty sure that the budget EA has allocated for Cricket/Rugby is 1/10 of the budget they have for FIFA/Madden/NHL/NBA Live. Those are the franchises biggest games and will have more money to make them better because they bring in more revenue.

They should try to made this game better, why they don't check team by team, or check mistakes, or see the better things of the other fifa gemes, and put all this things in the new one

Im very dissapointed with this game, but its not that easy to just check team by team for mistakes. Starting lineups and formations change almost all the time and EA probably just takes the most used lineups/tactics and sticks them in the game for that team. But then sometimes i think EA just uses an automatic ratings generator for player rankings depending on what team/league/position in standings they are (eg, Kezman from PSV only got a 77 ranking, Dejan Stankovic from Lazio got a 73 wtf???)

Wow! devoted fifa fans actually having a slanging match between themselves, and all due to the fact that 75% of them believe fifa 2004 is really not that good and are upset and angry because they fork out there hard earned cash each year for another inferior fifa game by easports, and then you have the small 25% of people who really won't have a bad word said against easports, those who also must lie to themselves maybe lie is the wrong word lets say convince themselves that really fifa 2004 is a great game, and yes it's got it 's faults but they will get it right with a patch, but then you realise that easports don't do patches , well not for the fifa football games , but never mind i will just wait until the next fifa game comes out.
Tell you the truth i actually feel for the 75% of the fifa buyers, why! because i was one of them until i took it back to the shop.

spot on. dont forget though that some people are easier to impress than others.

Games have always cost quite a bit since the Megadrive days, so I dont think its "people like him".

Yep you are right, and usually sports games cost cheaper then other type of games that you play once and finish then never play again. Plus, since its so much easier to get games for free with the spread of internet compared to old days when someone you knew would have to buy the game then borrow it from them to make copies of the disks. in 1988 or 89 i bought my first computer game, "Kings Quest 4" and my mom paid $50 (cdn), i'm sure that computer software piracy has exploded 1000000000000000000x since 1988/89 and computer games are still at the same price.

is this game really made by Canadians?? i remember watching the videos EA made for the game witht he programmers or producers or whatever they are and they all had british accents.
