Why is gameplay so dark?

Everytime I play a game the match is so dark &there doesnt appear to be a brightness in options screen, can anyone help please.

Why don't you adjust the brightness on your T.V. or computer monitor.

I have &its the same as it always has been &its fine! But Fifa 2004 is dark

go to file cfg_pc_l

adjust

sky_render=1

I tried the data cmn change &its still the same, the cards gamma is the same as it always has been &it works fine on all my other games. Why is there not a brightness control in the game menu like there is on all previous features, is there no way of changing it?

even i find the game very dark...night matches look good..but many stadium like old trafford in the day look very dull and dark! many ppl have this prob

I use a program called PowerStrip. I have done for a year or two now, its really useful with any game or application. When you have it running, you can just do CTRL+ALT+NUMBERPAD PLUS to increase brightness or CTRL+ALT+NUMBERPAD MINUS to decrease. Theres aload of other functions aswell, for instance; you can make it automatically set a different gamma, brightness level etc for a specific application.
It works perfectly with FIFA 2004.

You can also turn something called "film grain" off which will clear up your game. Just edit which ever cfg_pc_x you play with. Change it from =1 (on) to =0 (off). Game looks good either way, you decide. No change in fps. I was playing with it off all this time, but now I like it on again.
