Kit Raptor 2GK, for my fifa is ****ed.
Wheneveri download kits off the forums (Saving pic as BMP) and try to put it in fifa, the kit is just black.
I have already posted this on the SA forums, but they didn't help me, or even reply.
HELP ME!!!

If the kit is black, try to modify image size. Make it 512x1024 with Photoshop or Jasc Paint Shop Pro. Because ur kit is definetely not totally 512x1024. ;)

I also downloaded the patch ND resized the kit, al black.

i think its because the pics of the kits are jpgs and maybe not saved by the kitmaker properly....they must be saved as Baseline standard jpgs or they do not work.....i made this mistake myself because i tried to get the best quality jpg to post on the forums because the file limit here is so low.......when i supplied the original bmp to the guy that told me of the black kits problem.......he installed the bmp and it worked fine .....so i suggest you ask the kitmaker for the bmps of the kits or ask him to check the jpg and repost the kits

I had problems with KR too. But i found the problem is because before import or install the KR i edited the zdata_04.big and the zdata_05.big with faces and before install the KR you didnt change anything use the original file. And now works fine. But the problem is Im afraid to install the faces again because i think it will crash my game again and i import a lot of kits i think more than 100. If someone help me try to import kits and after install some faces to see if the game crashes to desktop

if you have a program like PSP or photoshop.......open up the jpg and re-save it as a jpg....... set it to maximum quality but make sure that the setting is Baseline (standard) and then convert it to bmp and see if that works also

You can also save it as a bmp then set a dot to the right (not at the kit itself) with paint and it will probaly work also

yeah...i jst found out the problem oso...the faces n boots are stored together wit the kits in the zdata_04.big n zdata_05.big files...n KR has the problem tat it can oni import 2GK kits properly oni if the 2 files are unmodified

dude u shd do like wut i did...at 1st u import back the original 2 .big files into ur Fifa2004...then jst import all ur 2GK kits 1st...after u have finish imported all of ur kits...save the 2 .big files from ur Fifa2004...put them somewhere in ur hard disk...then u can try installing the faces again...if the game crashes again...no fear, u can copy back ur saved 2 .big files back into ur Fifa2004

but as i've tried...after u import the kits...u can safely install the faces or boots n it wont crash ur game...but u cant import any new kits anymore coz u hap installed some faces...it will crash ur game...u can install new kits by replacing back the saved files into ur fifa, then save them again, n then u'll hap to install ur faces again...n the next time u wanna import new kits...do the same

Thanks for your help accelerator7 but i have one more doubt. when i import face or boots my game will crash when i import more kits, but and when i import Flags my game will crash too ?
And i tested with stadium and the game didnt crash.
