Why dont Konami interact with fans like EA

On behalf of myself and many other members of the Konami community, I'd just like to say that if we had to have some fat a$$ lying idiot like Danny Isaac who claims such huge piles of steaming horse$hit every year about a game that turns out to be completely pathetic and a million miles away from what is promised each year...
... we'd all rather hear nothing whatsoever.
Seabass (Konami's main P.R. guy), when he does speak, has something to say that excites the Konami community. Why? Because he's as good as his word. Danny Isaac's word isn't worth $hit on the floor to anybody! A dorkish lookish corporate idiot who you can guarantee has never really watched a game of soccer in his life, reads a freaking script and doesn't give a flying fcuk about the FIFA fans other than the $'s in thier pockets. His pathetic grins as he spouts more bull$hit is a joke. As the British would say, a complete and utter wanker!!!
So, there's your answer.

Very good point indeed! People like Isaac get told what to say by their marketing managers.
This is EA's marketing style: take one of two new things that you add to a game, give them a special name and make feature movie clips about these new features, blowing it up beyond belief.
Don't forget EA's profits are based on a number of games that sell well each year, so they have to do everything to keep them selling well. So they have to pull out all the stops to sell their games.
And when games dissapoint or when they can't do what they wanted, they have to lie and cheat to keep the sales up.
Japanese companies invest more into new things and don't rely on the old......more risc, but Konami never spend too much money on office buildings and things like EA did (and they have to be paid for too by EA each year).

I do believe Konami staff members go around the net and read forums, such as this one and see people complain about certain stuff. There is stuff that Konami fixes each year, and there`s not. You`ll see, in WE8 there will be some bugs that we`ll find out. But what I admire and respect about Konami is that every year, they bring/add something new to the plate. Honestly EA, what they do is polish their graphics, add more teams with licenses and that`s about it. FIFA will always have crapy gameplay, IF FIFA brings the same gameplay as we see in WE7IJ or KONAMI football games, then KONAMI would be out of business.
There`s this theory about gaming industry. If Konami makes the best football game in the world (which they`re doing already) but without any bugs, without any complains from people, so the game is 100% PERFECT with everything that player needs, then Konami wouldn`t be where they are today.

And aslo if u see they are promoting their games more now. There was pes3 ads in some soccer games i remember one game of real madrid. They make new websites with polls and good happy designs newsletters (never send one but anyway lol)

Kits are like plastic faces are burned if ball is on air u can't understand difference between sun and ball cos it's so shiny and only thing worths is stadium graphics. Cos gameplay sucks menus are crap looking no training all these years. And this training sucks. Pes has best training and they now say big improvment wow! How it's gonna be coach in pitch giving orders! oh my god.

Issac. Brand new plexi glass kits. Lol wtf? Brand new less red faces. Plus fifa thinks they got online mode? Well is it me or whenever i was tyring to go online in fifa 2002 i got an error. Now i dunno if they fixed it from then lol.

EA sucks balls. I was a FIFA fan for SO many years, going through this each year, hearing the 'new features' and 'improved gameplay' that will make the whole game 'more realistic' bullcrap. I thank the lord every day for PES, Winning Eleven, etc because FIFA truly became painful to play. Konami rocks

Danny Isuck epitomises the corporate bullshit that EA stirs up every year with the FIFA series - it's nothing more than a cash cow that customers are falling for. It's not about realism and gameplay with them no more, it's all about making as much cash as possible by pulling a fast one.
The fancy names for those so-called gameplay features that are overhyped whenever a new FIFA is in production. How could we not forget the stuff that EA said about in the promotion of the official Euro 2004 game? It was either something from previous FIFA games that were reintroduced, or ideas that Konami had implemented in PES, and even ISS before it, years ago.
Konami don't need to resort to overhyped interviews about fancy named gameplay features and stuff in forthcoming WE/PES games, because they let the game itself do the talking, and they do listen to their fanbase... as someone mentioned earlier, people complained about the frequency of handballs in PES3, but it was fixed for WE7I.

I think the funniest (or saddest for the poor ba$tards still playing FIFA and looking forward with naive anticipation to the next installment) thing with the FIFA series is how they have their "take this out, put this back in (which we took out two years previously)". I'm seriously waiting for them this year to take out passing altogether and then put it back in the 2006 version as an "exclusive new feature!". I wish that was wildly exaggerated but let's not forget they virtually took heading and the ability to edit anything in the game out of previous years additions.
