Why Does Sg Keep On F*cking Up???

stop talking $hit. I'm being serious here. It affects everyone, i've noticed when connection is restored there is only something like 12 or less people using the forum, then it rapidly goes back to the normal number of people using the forum at any one time, which tends to be 100+

What was originally a thread that just asked why it f*cks up and why annoymous hasn't done anything to fix it or said anything about any problems beyond his control u've just turned it into an excuse to slag me off.

ytwoane, try being more tactful next time. By that I mean, ask your question in a nice manner and you won't be insulted. You brought the insults on yourself by unecessarily insulting the forum that the mods run. You'll never get anywhere doing that.
I'll answer your question though. What you're talking about is when we have to restart the mysql server. That happens when the server is lagging or having problems. It boots everyone off the forums, restarts and then everyone is welcome back. So that is why the user numbers go down and then return back to the normal number.

Look mate. I probably shouldn't get involved, and tell me to butt out at any time you please. But I would like to see you manage a forum site 24-7. Our RESPECTED administration are not full time on the boards. THEY HAVE WHAT WE KNOW AS LIVES!!!
Ok, so i have had my fair share of fights with the mods. I admit that and am over it, but u just seem to be on here to moan and groan. Your computer must emitt a lot of radiation into u.
You are lucky that we have a nice board owner

Also, the anonymous person that keeps the board up is probably one of our finest, and im not sucking up.
Also, joe's right, coz that happens to me rarely, and it must be because u are also trying to sign in and ruin it 4 everyone else.
You need to chill out more. In case u hadn't noticed, this is a FREE service, and the staff do a fantastic job in providing such a service and i am sure that most of the members would agree.
Get off ur computer to get some fresh air mate.

I can understand what ytwoane is saying, but I think that he has conducted it in the wrong way.
Anyway back to the point of what this is about, I myself have been frustrated recently by not being able to get on (well since I was registered anyway, like 2 days). However look at it this way: being an international based board people are continuously online if a problem occurs in prime time which may mean that the admins are all asleep over in Australia the problem cannot be fixed.
Whereas most web forums are all based in one region, both members and admins being online around the same time problems are picked up straight away and dealt with quicker.
All I am saying is look at the number of members and posts, I think that Matt and the team are doing a fantastic job, they can't help server problems.
