If a dog chases you up to the top of a 4-storey building (with no elevator), barks at you, turns and runs back down then you can say that you were running away from an animal.

It gets really interesting if you are running with a group of friends and everyone is laughing as they wonder who will be bitten first.

I once had to travel very early (like 4 am) and I live close to the transport terminal, so I decided to walk. I was about two blocks from my destiny when a dog started barking at me, I didn't scare as he was like 50 mts from me. But all of a sudden I realized that in the darkness there were a bunch little sparkling eyes watching at me. I enlightened the dark area with my cell. A pack of 15 angry and sleepy dogs didn't wait to understand the situation, they rushed towards me. And I ran, I ran like I never did before, I ran too much, from time to time I felt their teeth touching my legs. But finally I found a wall, I jumped and climbed it and awaited till the dogs left. I lost my ride.

Yeah man, I am terrified of stray dogs, I ran from some in Thailand and South America even though I dont know if they were even trying to attack me or just being friendly, I fucking hate them. It is ridiculous, I can walk through the most dangerous rough areas with full confidence but as soon as I see a stray dog I am terrified. Wish I could carry a gun.
