give us a little more data to work with
they extract properly and u dont get any error msgs?
check C:\Program Files\Championship manager\data and see if the files are there. If they are copy them to the right place in D:
If they are not?
let them extract to the default location and then copy them to the correct one.

Make sure you copy the data files themselves and that they are pasted into the right folder. Check that you data files arent read only, which they are by default. You can change this setting by reight clicking and removing the check box marked "read only" to "archive"

Hopefully one of these might solve the problem. Best of luck

once you have extracted the files to the D:\ location
open the database using the official CM editor that came with the game.
Once the editor is open and the database loaded, resave the database. This will reindex the database and so any errors in it will be removed.
If still no luck you might as well see if u can find space on C for your CM game,

Try uninstalling it from both C drive and D drive (and delete any redundent files afterwards in the CM directories), and try installing it again (on C drive I suggest).

These sort of problems often happen when you have more than one version of CM installed.
