Why do I have such a little amount of money?

After a home league game, I'll have about 135,000 but by the next week I'll have 23,000. Is it because I have too many players and they're getting payed too much? I've seen some teams that have an enormous amount of cash. But I can never go over 135,000.

Or is it simply because I'm in a little division? USA 3.6?

I gave your team a quick look. Your player salaries don't seem very outrageous but I have a few pointers:

Add about 200 VIP seats. They give you some $15000 every home league game, and maybe $750 for each home friendly game.

Boot that coach. $21k seems much for a coach, unless he's really good (say, 8-10 in a few areas). He isn't doing that much to improve your team, especially since most of your players are in the mid-20s and won't improve very fast. Note that the coach does not improve your teams play, only their training.

Make sure you play the maximum 5 friendly home games each week. Not very realistic, but the cash is needed. Each game will give you about $10k, so it adds up.

That's the immediate changes I see you can do to improve your economy.

You need a lot more hotdog stands and Souvenir shops. They don't cost much to build and they make their money almost straight away. Look at my stadium, for a little help. I haven't looked at your team, but do you have many youths, as they use up a lot of your money?

I actually only have 2 youths. Is it better to get more and just fire some players that I dont use?

About youths!

I'd boot the youths if they are no good. And if you are going to try to set up a youth team, make sure you can afford it, have at least 2 or 3 trainers to maximize the youths' potential and go for the maximum number (16).

A youth must bring in in average maybe 600k-800k in a trade to pay for himself.

Note that trainers generally are paid way too much in this game. Most of them aren't worth the salaries they get. Your trainer I think is somewhat overpaid, but might be worth it further on, since good trainers are hard to come by. I'm lucky to have a really nice one from the beginning...

If I were you I'd stay still for the moment, maybe boot the youths you already have, and wait until you've hired one or two more trainers (at reasonable prices!) before going that way.

Always keep 1 youth or else you'll have to pay a start-up fee when you get new ones.

If your your youths are no good, just bring the number to 0 under economics (I think) and they'll disappear the next weekend.

Keeping 1 youth will help you from paying the 200k startup fee which applies when you go from 0 youths. However, keeping 1 youth for the rest of the season will cost you about 300k...
