Why aren't all Leagues Group + Knockout ?

ex. Barclays just ends with no playoffs :icon_spin::icon_spyed::sb9:

why is this MLB,NBA,NHL,NFL all have playoffs

with out playoffs there is no point of league

we all know its over and MAN U won that sucks :sb9:

well, these leagues use playoffs to encourage people to go to stadiums more often because they would still have chances to win, and the teams earn more money in the process. Top leagues in the world do not need to do that. even Wigan has good stadium attendance all the season

Knock out is pure luck. The law of averages will catch up with poor teams over a 38 game season. In a knock out round, a poor team can beat a good team which may be struggling through injury problems.

Calling it the Champions League or Europa League is pure rubbish. They should be the Champions Cup and UEFA Cup.
