the deal with nascar, is that is more of an endurance race than anything else... 500 mile races...

Dude, when Schumacher came to ferrari they were definitely crap. In his first season the engine ****ed up in every second race. He made a great team out of a mediocre one.

Prost had his great time at the beginning of the 90s.

He's one of the best youngsters, but he hasn't won anything yet. You can't compare a five time f1 champion with a 21 year old guy.

by the way...he's also the world's richest sportsman,beats Jordan and Tiger by a long way...when he came on board Ferrari,they hadn't won the world championship for almost 20 years,so i would definitely say he's a good team driver.
It's too bad most americans don't take the time to even get some more facts or try to appreciate formula 1 and other world sports,sorry but baseball and NFL isn't exactly catching the world on fire..you shouldn't even be having the word 'World' in any of your sporting championship especially when the only outsider teams are Canadian lol...how pathetic

Qualifying 3rd in his first ever GP... and that was at Spa, Belgium, one of the most challenging circuits ever (it's not in the calendar anymore...)
In 1992 he was ABOVE Senna in the standings... (53 points to 50, 3rd to 4th, behind the 2 williams)
In 1993 he was way behind but then in 1994 the 2 races before Senna's death were won by Schumacher...

I do think Senna was great, me being brazilian and everything... but Schumacher is better than he was...

it'd still rate senna over Schui, but schui definitly isn't over-rated. He won his first two titles in a Bennetton that was probaly not the best car on the grid for those thwo seasons (the williams was probaly slightly better). In 97 and 98 he came within one race of the championship in a Ferrari that was clearly inferior to the Williams (in 97) and the Mclaren (in 98). Had he been in either of those cars then he would have won the title both years with about 5 races to go.

Not only hat, he's not the kind of driver that just jumps form good team to good team. When he left Bennetton, they were world champions, to join a Ferrari team that had won only one race since 1990. In that first year in Ferrari he scored 3 wins, and the next went within Jaques Villenurve's sidepod of the title at Jerez.

I'm a big Ferrari fan, but I still rate Senna over Schumi. Although excluding any team loyalty, I have to say Montoya is my favoutite driver.
