Who will win?

I think it's amazing what Prandelli has achieved with the Azzurri ... that said: no hay dos sin tres? on paper, can't see Spain not winning ... unless they play like they did against Portugal during normal time ...

Spain can be boring as hell but they aren't 'parking the bus', can't complain because I enjoy seeing the false 9 (which is so much better than the invisible 9s Torres & Negredo).

The final might be a lot more cautious that their opening game, I hope it isn't though.

If no hay dos sin tres and Spain lost the final, 2010 world cup will automatically go to the Netherlands.

Fvck them both, I wanted Germany to win. :-(

I voted Italy. I have newfound respect for this type of game Italy is showing.

Spain gets on my nerves with their touchy-touchy pass, fvck that sh!t.

Spain will struggle to score with 0 strikers because Italy is very strong in defense and they have good backup from midfield as well. Spain will pass and pass and won't be able to get anyone at the end of their passes/crosses.

Well, Arbeloa did all he could for Spain to lose, really. He's like the worse RB of the competition!
You just dont like him because he tactically fouled Ronaldo (H)

There is a world wide shortage of quality right backs at the moment.

Nah my dislike of Arbeloa comes from way before. He's a liability, he's the weakest link at Real AND Spain. Spain go about their passing and what not, as soon as the ball goes to Arbeloa they lose possession. At Real he's probably just there because (like Spain, but at least Real could do something about it) they haven't got anyone else, since Mourinho switched Ramos to the middle. There's no way a player like him should even be considered for a team like that, CL semi-final against Bayern is an example of that.

All in all I liked him this tournament for Spain, I liked the way he ran hard and always made himself available out wide in the attack. I also thought he did his defensive duties fairly well. I disagree that he was a liability against Portugal, considering he had the best player in the tournament up against him I think he stood up remarkably well. Ronaldo's lack of influence on the game bears testament to that.

Having said all that, many of his teammates must agree with you because it was painfully obvious his teammates didnt want to pass to him except as a last resort!

Opposing teams have always been happy to leave Sergio Ramos/Arbeloa open on the wing since they pose little threat compared to the midfielders, and rightfully so. I think Del Bosque or Xavi got fed up with Spain's possession always ending in a poor cross from the RB, so they just started ignoring that option.

Terrible prediction. Spain finally gave their everything and I didn't expect this scoreline. Spain doubled the scoreline with a real striker on though.

Damn you Fili. Everytime I see your post, I scroll down quickly just so that someone doesn't think I'm watching porn.
