I'm starting to feel like a quiz show host with all of these 'question threads.' Anyway, I've just sold Gerrard to Dortmund for 83,000,000 pounds (my record sale) and so was wondering who was your biggest purchase and/or sale? Your time starts....now!...

In my old Ajax game, my biggest purchase was for 37.5mil for a regen. Cant remember my record sale, think it was 44mil for Pablo Aimar.

The most I have spent on someone is only £13.5m on Issac Okowronkwo & Dimitris Elefuropolous (thats each)

Although after signing Michael Carrick on a bosman, I sold him to Roma 4 years later for £28m. Am I a good business man or what?

Not too shaby Liam. I was pretty damn happy with the 83 million for Gerrard, but now I can't get a replacement for him. No-one wants to join. I'm feeling a little set up.

Though not as impressive as the 83 million pound man, I used that clause to sell Kallstrom for 35, Okoronkwo for 33 and Rosicky, who was a lil punk*, for 32 milion pounds.

Rosicky has never given me any trouble. I sold Tonton as the greedy little prick asked for three new contracts over the space of 18 months, each time with a huge wage jump from the previous contract.



Also, please explain what this 1 international cap exploit is so that I too may pseudo-cheat.

I've got myself a couple of bargains, today.

Eldar Hadzimehmedovic - Valued at £10m. Sold to me for £3.9m

Jason Stevens (regen) - Valued at £8m. Sold for £2.4m

Don't quite understand why Arsenal sold Stevens, either. The lad looked promising and was loyal as owt. Sounded really gutted when Arsenal put him on the list. A year or so later, I buy him for a snip.

As for Hadzi, I'm trying to ressurect his career. Had a poor Euro 2008 and just hasn't been... right over the past month or so. Sure I can sort him, though. 100+ caps for Norway if I'm still in charge of them by then.

Oh, and has anyone had a problem where every transfer rumour is instantly publicised? I keep trying to keep offers for Mark Bircham quiet (as he's staying put, if I can help it) but the press get hold of them easily.

I had the same problem with Gerrard. Constant bloody press speculation and transfer bids. In the end I thought that I'd price him out of the market by negotiating his sale at a crazy price. That usually results in all interest drying up instantly. When Dortmund STILL wanted him at 83 million, I just though 'why the hell not' and that was that.
