This girl is just a BITCH. And it really tells you something about the quality of officiating in the NCAA. That's why they tell players not to play college soccer.
It's good to know that there are worse-officiated leagues than MLS. She could have been sent off three times.Horatiu;2759328 said:Yeah, that was laughable officiating.
That's the worst line of bull I've heard in quite some time. I've been on both ends of games where things get heated. Never, EVER have I seen someone cheap shot like that. You're pissed off at the other team, yeah you might knock 'em around a little bit. Maybe you lose your cool and go into a tackle or two you shouldn't. But come on, if you don't have the self control to stop yourself from sucker-punching (sucker hair-pulling?) someone off the f*cking ball, you need to talk to a psychiatrist.Bobby;2759372 said:"I am deeply and wholeheartedly regretful for my actions," said Lambert. "My actions were uncalled for. I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation. I take full responsibility for my actions and accept any punishment felt necessary from the coaching staff and UNM administration. This is in no way indicative of my character or the soccer player that I am."
Sure, bitch.
This. Actually, I've seen some very good womens' games. Some terrible ones, too, but I'm convinced that the biggest thing holding the womens' game back is bad coaching and terrible marketing. I mean, I go to the U of Minnesota, and I'd definitely go to womens' games frequently if not for the fact that both times I've gone, the crowd has been 40% girls under the age of 15, and another 55% are the parents of said children. It's incredibly difficult to get into the game when every goal is punctuated by ear splitting shrieks, but other than that, no one else understands whats going on tactically.Xifio;2759431 said:RE: "who says women's soccer is boring?"
violence makes it unboring? compensating skill with savagery?
