I want to say Real Madrid, but as it stands we simply don't have enough of a defensive commitment to beat teams like AC Milan, Bayern Munich or Juventus. I think our actual four defenders are fine(Salgado, Helguera, Pavon and R. Carlos) but losing Makelele will hurt as the other three midfielders(Zidane, Beckham and Figo) don't even know what their own half looks like.

If I have to pick one team, it's Bayern.

I don't think Man U. have a chance this year they sold two of their best players for the champions league and bought the overated kleberson and an inexperience C. Ronaldo. Once they go up against any of the big teams (Madrid, Munich, Milan, Juve) they are screwed.

After watching them against wolves I wouldn't be surprised to see them knocked out earlier than the quarterfinals.
